A KPM Hurricane IIC Donor Kit for repairs

One thing that a cheap kit which you don't intend building is very useful for, is part donations. Here I show how I'm going to use parts from the CLK 0011 kit from KPM to 'restore' my oldest Hurricane built model, which met with an 'accident' in June 2023, along with two dozen others.

Great to see some positive from the huge negative you suffered.
Zvezda do not-bad-at-all Hurricane IIC in 1/72. Sold as a snap-together kit it is a modern tooling with good detail and at an affordable price.

As a Hurricane fan I once built 50 Hurricanes ( complete after market decal sheet) and used a fair few of those Heller/Smer kits,not bad kits

Well it is different to buy a donor but why not if it helps get another model looking good at a reduced cost and I am sure you will keep the other small parts for moding other models.
