Kanami wrote this while they were on their US tour last year, after feeling the emotions of their fans. She then played to the other Ladies of the band and Saiki and Miku wrote the lyrics. This is a song of them saying to us their fans, they felt our love, and they love us in return. And that they love performing for us and hope to do more for us.

Hello my old friend... Mr. Wallet. Just ordered their new BD drop of the Tokyo Garden concert so I can hear (and see) Memorable over and over again. In the vein of other great mid-tempo Band-Maid songs like Daydreaming, Anemone, About Us, Endless Story, PAGE, Wonderland, Awkward, Start Over, Mirage, At the Drop of a Hat and Smile -- I’m so touched that their time in the States inspired the sentiment of Memorable. They debuted the song at the Tokyo concert which are the clips we see during the MV. The US clips of Miku living in a hollowed out piano in the desert must have been done recently during their support for TLRS. Not sure there was anytime other than that. If About Us was about the struggle with trying to cope with the lack of connection with the fans during Covid and a love letter for the support. This felt like a thank you for being able to sing in front of live audiences again when they toured the US etc. Lovely MV, lovely song. Another tear jerker where I will pretend I have a cold and sniff a lot. Good to see you both back and watching a new Band Maid MV.

At Tokyo Garden Theater on Jan.9, "Memorable" was premiered after "About Us" . These two songs soothed the audience emotion (I was there 😍) ... and then boom!! "Manners" 😲.
I believe this song will grow on people after they hear it a few times. It's a departure from their usual rock music, but it will quickly become someone's favorite love song. Simply put, it's a beautiful song.
