Just got my mi band 5 few days ago and i am literally sitting here in front of the tv while writing a comment that I set my mi band to "CYCLING" and I'm burning 82 calories Lovely....
I bought one and set it up ok. I am an elderly person. I am quite pleased so far but want to know if I can reset my steps every day to zero so I can know how many steps I do each day rather than adding them on to the previous day. Is this possible?
i just have one question...do i have to always have my phone with me and the bluetooth activated in order for the band to always be connected or i can just exercise and then check the results when i am done??
Can somebody explain exact functionality for Swimming Pool mode, more precisely functions of 2 small icons during swimming. On the top icon is trying to show something like "turn" and bottom icon shows open lock pad, and there is rounded icon which you can sweep up and down. I don't understand what exactly is that feature?
i have a doubt is that, when we set an alaram in mobile app, while ringing alaram weather we need to keep in bluetoorh pairing the smart band with mobile ? or with out pairing weather the alaram work or not ?
Yet another issue came up today, I had my mi band 5 on workout mode (walking) It says I walked 2.5 mile when in fact it was 4.6/4.7 miles.. Beyond frustrating.. I noticed when walking the miles took ages to register so knew something was up.. Any help as to why this would happen would be great. Thanks
The Bluetooth has dropped out by the sounds of it and it hasn't reconnected in time to register the full journey. That's why I got the Huawei Band 4 Pro because it has it's own GPS where it doesn't have to stay connected to you phone to rely on your phones GPS to work.
so if the band needs to be reset due to not syncing the language properly (failed during original sync). Language is still set to Chinese. Dont know how to reset so that I can start again. Any help would be appreciated.
@@rf2632_ mannnn use your brain... Do you really think that your sitting on the couch relaxed is the same as sleeping? During sleep a slow heartbeat with rates around 40-50 bpm When you are relaxed on the couch the best you will get its 60
Just got my Mi band 5 yesterday. I love it. I love the STRESS & BREATHING feature. I can still use the straps of my mi band 3/4. I cant find the lock code when you remove the band.
because you go to the more options, then scroll to the bottom till you get to band display, then just scroll through the different watchfaces until you get to the default one.

My Mi 5 band was connected to my mobile phone. For no reason contact was lost and when I try to connect it again I get the message: "Can't connect, call the service". What to do? How to get service?

I'm getting the same issue with the mi band 5 as I did with the 4.. The heartrate freezes for about 15 sometimes during exercise and it's so frustrating. Also I can be walking around and the heartrate is 93 bpm for example then I walk up a steep hill and I can feel my heart beating very fast yet the band stays around 109 even though the real rate is 160+ because I stop and count my beats for real 😒

Yes. It is possible. Each day after midnight it counts down to zero and you may start a fresh with new count of steps. Enjoy walking!

If you just use it for exercise then you can do that. But other functions like notifications need it to be connected to the phone via Bluetooth.

You can set the language in the Mi Fit App. No need to reset

You don't have to set it up. It will automatically track your sleep. The data will be shown in the Mi Fit app.

All the events/reminders are set on the phone and turn on the notification via the Mi Fit app. You will get a vibration for evry notification

Not possible. You can reject or silent call on the band but you can't answer and talk. No mic and speaker on it.

You're having an heart attack while walking 😬
The Heart Rate Monitors on these things are only around 85% accurate. It's an indicator not a reader. So there will be discrepancies now and again.
