This is an awesome video. It explains so many rules (ship movement, fortifications, cannon fire, grenades, arrow firing, musket firing). It does not go into all the details, but gives an excellent starting point for a person that has a big ? over their head. Love all the questions and Mike's explanations \ answers.
the ship battling looks epic, loving the easy move widget for the ships, and the cinematic of the ship entering the bay under fire and returnimg fire with its canon is great.
Ship to ship fighting... broadsides - boarding parties - entangled rigging - a spark in the powder magazine... my mind is swirling. Great looking pieces - well done, guys!
Great section of video . I haven't painted for years but have been inspired to get back to painting by these fabulous figures and game structure . Keep up the good work .
i like that they went with a simple movement widget for ships. cant wait to try a ship to ship on a 6 by 4 ocean mat it seem simple enough. BTW Justin you could try ramming the far dock with your ship if the game allows it lol
My son bought a French starter set, an extra commander, and a legendary commander last night, I will be getting an English starter set, and a legendary commander, soon. We'll be adding ships soon.
Ship models look great but really small. I suppose Compromise must be made for playability as a frigate would be easily 3 feet long or better at 28mm scale and a 10 gun sloop would be in the 18 inch range.
in the middle of a move and my unlimited data was running dry... now I can catch up and win. love the landing but you needed to prep the objective more.
Do you have ambassador in France, Paris area ? We want to build a board to play with the them of pirrater, and make video of our games. Thank You for your Videos !

Just a thought... will you be adding the historically accurate pirate flags - specific to various pirates - as options amidst the accessories?

The idea of using a flag to show wind direction is super easy but also really clever
