I remember visiting the international airport a few years ago, its such a memorable time to stay in Hergesia, Somaliland
Welcome HOME! I've been visiting Hargeisa for many years but always for short periods. December 2020 I visited Hargeisa as I normally do every other year, my intentions were to stay for 10 days and it turned into 10 months LOL. I then packed up my whole life and moved here permentantly May of this year. This places always suprises me. I LOVE IT.

How Welcoming and energatic Somalilanders are from the taxi guy to basically everyone in Somaliland is unmatched, it gets me everytime; enjoy your time beautiful.

THIS WAS SO GOOD! I love this so much. When us children of immigrants go back to our homelands, it makes me emosh. 🥺💕 I have not been back to Mexico in a long time, I've been yearning to go back home. 😭 Excited to see the rest of the vlogs!!!

Good luck sweetie. Usually it's different when you are just visiting for a specific time. But if you decide to stay for a longer time it's a whole different scenario. It was my first time to visit Somaliland in my 29 years. The problem wasn't the buildings, roads or even the shortage of water but The PEOPLE. I came to a conclusion which is I am not proud of how my people are and I am not going to tell my children those stories our parents used to tell us about how the somalis are the best.

How come you flew from Sharjah? Do live there how is it? I heard UAE is opening up and can be easier to move there.
I was in the uae & it worked out to be a better price tickets wise. Sharjah is good from what I saw but I don’t live there so I can’t tell you much

Dont bring that filthy blue flag here again it reminds us when Eritrea was with Ethiopia , that flag of somalia stains bloodshed so its forbidden or not permissible to bring here in our country its like showing ethiopian flagg in Eretrea if you understand what that means so respect our status which is an indipendant defacto state called Somaliland Republic here on the ground otherwise we'll say to you that Eretrea is part of Ethiopia simple as that

Hargeisa!! I've to recommend all the good cafes/restaurants you have to visit, so write them down.... go to Laasgeel, Carroedeg, Freeway, 25, Mocha, Aden19 for ice cream. These are currently the hottest in town purr. ENJOYYY!
