When I explain why at 43 I don’t see the point of having children. It goes “ what’s the point, all they’re going to do is work , pay taxes and die” The planet provides everything humans need, but we’ve put a price on everything.

Companies want good slaves who are married/have kids. After about 20 years working, I'll tell young people you should not have any loyalty to any organization, they will turn on you in a second when its convenient and fire/replace you. Also to ensure no slavery, young people dont get married and dont get a girl pregnant, make sure she takes the birth control pill daily in front of you and both wear protection. You will just condemn your new child to increasing poverty and freedomless slavery and these control/money/job trends worsen. Promote this idea in videos and social media to help prevent more young people into this new slavery.

Money was invented to replace the barter system. Much easier to carry coins than bringing a cow into town to trade. Unfortunately what happened was people shifted from producing things to trade to thinking about how to get money. The funny thing is producing things of value will get you money. So what I'm getting at is learn to produce value to others.

My total expenses are around 1000 a month and I make 3000-3500. I safe 2000 every month and I never worry about my next pay check while my friends that have the same job are always waiting for the next check. sometimes they run out of money and ask me for food money and take me they are gonna pay me when they get pay. I just don't imagine myself working my whole life and I'm gonna do anything to be a free man. I will take a month vacation to mexico on march and I don't care if my job gives me permission because i own my life and i can always find another job. I'm 23 right now and I have no doubt that if i keep saving I will one day be free.

One of the smartest things I ever did was cinch up my belt & paid off my school loans as soon as I got a job. I have a friend _still_ paying off his because he thinks living with debt is *normal.* In the '90's, banks & credit institutions lined up along the college green, handing out credit cards to students like they were candy. THAT's where this sh*t started...
People _used_ to be able to buy their cars outright & houses & rent weren't insane. Until enough of us demand that the average cost of living be _lowered_ to meet the average paycheck, instead of constantly raising the minimum wage, we will continue to own less & less that lessens our control over our own lives. The economic noose is tightening around us & YES it's intentional.

Still have a mortgage which I doubt I will pay off as its interest only but the way I look at this is that the home served it’s purpose and housed me and my kids, they are adults now. In a few years I may have to sell up and begin my next chapter please god. But all that Tim says is all true, it’s hard to convey this to children however but keep planting seeds.

Modern day slavery... But you can get out of it You think more "things" make you happy, that's how they program you but over time I realized that wasn't it at all for me. Freedom to do what I want with my time is the most valuable, fulfilling thing to me. You can either do that by being rich or you can do that by living "poor"... giving up all the fancy stuff and living with less, which maybe isn't really poor at all...

Tuco said it best in the Sergio Leone classic The Good The Bad and the Ugly "if you work for a living why do you kill yourself working?"
Tyler Durden in Fight Club was spot on too by saying "working in jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need."
I like these two and love you too Tim! :)

I am late to the party. But I am catching up. But yes, I was taught in school to go to college, my father recommended trade schools. I was taught keep your nose clean, be a good boy, tuck your shirt in, shine your shoes, cut your hair, get a job with benefits and a pension lol! Oh my....how I would have done things different. As a 50-year-old man....if I would have only known 30 years ago what I know now. And this world continues to go to crap.

As a retired Boomer I did what I had to do, and now I am comfortable and live as I want, but I can’t help wondering what would have happened if I had taken a year or two off to travel the world when I was young. Instead I bought into the crystal and china and setting a beautiful table. Ba humbug, that was a mistake.

True, one needs to make money, but you don't need a "Good job". One needs enough to cover "needs", the rest is gravy. What you're talking about relates to the clothing industry. The people actually doing the work of assembling/sewing together the shirts, pants, etc... get paid a few dollars a day, for 12, or 14 hour days, while celebrities, athletes, and/or models, get paid millions, to advertise for the brands. It does take discipline to use credit responsibly. We get bombarded to use credit, it's very tough to resist.

I love this!!! You are so spot on!!! I'm self employed, and save as much as possible, and until last year, I always worked for someone else. There's a whole new world of freedom that has opened up to me, and I love my life and what I do. I can focus on what really matters in this life. My family, and my relationship with my Lord Jesus Christ. Also licensing to hunt, fish, pretty much everything. It's ridiculous when God freely provides these things for all. Yes, there is labor to grow and hunt for your own food, but the reward is soo much greater when there's no middle man. God bless you brother!

Hi Tim, For the past 6 years I slept in, enjoy whatever I wanted to do because of how I set out to do my life.
I bought little house paid it off got out of debt early and retired. So now days I only do house work. I declutter everything I no longer needed, thanks, to you and the people who put out videos by having less you have more.
I was raise get married have children but I toss that programming out at age 15 I seen no reason to marry or have children. I got that holy bible read every page I discover we do not need to get marry it is another false message unless you read the whole bible you can miss some of these nuggets of wisdom out of the holy bible.
People love taking piece of the bible and try and make others live by it. I heard a song Not getting fool again between that song the bible you and others on youtube I redesign my life and any one can. No more listening to other people assuming how to live life. Do your life your way. That what I discovered. Thank You, Tim, for sharing your thoughts and wisdom on youtube.
