      No it's not.
It's not "obtainable" as you say. It depends on how much wealth you are looking at.
Building wealth that is over the populations average, needs you to do things that are over the average occupation - better than >~85% of population.
Means your job or occupation must be at least better than the 2/3 of people you cross in your city.
And perhaps that 90% of the 1/3rd have the best paying jobs or occupation because they have benefited from the best education.
And a large chunk of them, their exceptional education has been pushed and sponsored by rich parents.
So yes, it is obtainable if you recognize yourself as already part of the upper class, and you have had an exceptional education.
And there is a last determining factor, apart from checking all of the other boxes, you also need to do very hard work for years and years, save a lot, and do some well thought real estate investments along the way.
Given all that, yes it is obtainable. But if you talk from a very large majority of people, absolutely NOT obtainable.
And it's probably not looking at this girl that you'll get any nearer that goal.

@@MrErick1160 Spending & investing habits that you mentioned are by FAR the most important factor over a life time. Many high earners simply increase their regular spending, leaving them with no more investments than a typical low earner. Of course, greater earnings provide better opportunities; however, poorer origins often teach more disciplined spending habits than starting out in a wealthier family setting. Ultimately, it is up to each individual to figure out their own goals & how reach them.

Good reminder that you can actually negotiate with banks, insurance companies and others. People do not realize it, but almost ANYBODY will negotiate the price. I negotiated with a bank to pay of my credit card WITHOUT losing my credit rating (saved about 30K) and we have negotiated with insurance companies (4K/year in savings) for insuring business vehicles, phone companies ($100 off per month) etc. So, just remember people, EVERYTHING is a contract and you can negotiate anything. Just learn to say "what is the best price you can offer me..." or do your homework and tell them that somebody else will do some service cheaper and a lot of people will negotiate with you... No company, govt department (even tax department will negotiatie in some areas) and business will consider it something unusual...

    • @Prin_Cess_007
      @Prin_Cess_007 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

You don’t negotiate insurance in USA, rates are set and submitted to the states insurance commission. This is how they avoid discrimination, rates are set based on variety of factors the computer algorithm determines. If you “negotiated” you negotiated yourself into less coverage or higher deductibles. Everything else is illegal and there’s no way to do it.

    • @edennis8578
      @edennis8578 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@brad1367 She's not wrong. Businesses can negotiate insurance group rates for their employees because they hold the promise of giving the insurance company a lot of customers, but an individual doesn't have that power. Besides, most states only have a couple of insurance companies that work within that state, so there isn't much competition. If the feds ever allow insurance companies to sell across state lines, then we'll see some action.

Honestly, I think many, many people are understanding this is how business works; and quite frankly, it's starting to seriously anger people. The entire #TaxTheRich movement is basically centered around these principals. While the average Joe who can't afford a business vehicle is paying taxes on a used car that the previous owner already paid the taxes for, some rich person buys a RR Ghost with their business paying no taxes (or getting a very large tax write-off) and uses it as personal transportation, yet claims every trip as a business trip for even more tax write-offs.
So poor Joe gets stuck using his personal car that he paid "extra" tax on for his small business that can't afford to buy a car to use as a tax write-off. Middle America is waking up to this and is aiming to change it.

    Hi Sorelle,
First of all. I've been watching your vids for a few years. Love em.
However, asset structuring for tax and business just happens to be my specialty so I thought I'd offer a little depth for anyone watching the vid.
    1. You absolutely cannot leave income in a trust since any income not distributed is taxed at the highest possible rate. The trick is to plan your beneficiaries beforehand.
    2. Simply using a home for filming doesn't 100% make it deductible. I'd recommend some kind of calculation done and kept in your files to at least acknowledge your private use of the home.
The ATO rarely believe a 100% 'business use' case.
    3. Love the point about buying property and tax residency. That's a huge thing that people forget when they want to 'give up' Australian tax residency.
    4. One thing I do recommend is that you get an advisor to 'war-game' your tax scenarios depending on if you buy a property in your own name or in a separate entity.
We do these regularly and the results are easily $10k a year savings on individual properties. I think the record was $55k difference in a single year on a single investment property.
Love the video. I think you'll get more traction than a stuffy accountant like me but maybe we can collab if my channel gets noticeable enough in future.

Sorelle - an extremely important item to point out for both yourself and everyone else is that you should always have each of your properties under a separate LLC/GmbH/et al - depending on the country you live in and never under one big LLC/company! we just use our address, ex: 123 Main St LLC, 321 Main St LLC, etc. It's ok to put them under one S or C Corp like an umbrella Holding Company, but all of the properties need to remain separate. There's also another protection option within the LLC and that's Equity Stripping.

Sorelle talks about offshore tax accounts & playing the billionaires game without realising that their game is predicated on someone/thing LOSING. Whether that be lower socioeconomic groups or the environment - someone needs to do it tough so that a millionaire/billionaire can make a bit extra.
The fact that taxes are used to fund wars is something I heartily disagree with. But it also funds things like disaster relief, public health and public education. While Sorelle praises the billionaires and herself for being able to hire $500 an hour accountants to use “legal loopholes” to reduce their tax to single digits, the rest of the world who are less privileged and unable to do that continues on. Maybe if companies like Apple paid tax in Australia people the music industry wouldn’t have to work for free to raise money after natural disasters - but go ahead Sorelle - keep promoting tax avoidance. O for sure, EVERYONE CAN HAVE WHAT BILLIONAIRES HAVE - the biggest lie.

So what are you saying? That if you live comfortable that you should have to pay taxes even when you don't have to? There are likely things you yourself can write off if you check with your tax guy. That what I do. Because if one does not live comfortable it very well could be that one of the reasons for it is because they pay too much on taxes when they don't have to. Don't get me wrong. There will be those that take advantage of the system cheating like those people getting state assistance when they don't need it. But writing things off on your taxes is not escaping taxes. Like....I can't write off my cigarettes or my Bic lighter. Can't write off my Sneakers but I can write off my $200 work boots and the boots I buy my employees. Hard hats and gloves and all that add up and businesses suffer inflation too. We ain't all Samsung or FaceBook. The more you make the more the Man wants. The government wants what is in your pockets. You don't need to own a company to write things off. Most people just don't look into what they can write off. And lets be real...the government would never contact you and report that if you did this that and the other it could save you money in taxes. Thats your job in their eyes. I had a job once where I wrote my gas off because I had to travel for work. The government pays for these things because when you have gas to travel for work and when you have hard hats and gloves and things you use for working then you are gonna work thus making an income and paying taxes. You can write your tools off. They are not paying for it out of kindness. They are paying for it so that you can work and continue paying taxes. I live a comfortable life. I would not if I had to pay for everything. I can't skip taxes. Amazon and Netflix can skip taxes for years and owe the Federal gov billions. I would call that escaping taxes because thats illegal and not allowed. Writing things off that you use in order to make a living is legal and allowed. You should try it.

People who count money in millions and thousands already know how to run as a company. I was a LTD in UK. Annual fee ~17 pound.
Now i want to register in US and i read:
"Finally, having an LLC means you are also required to pay ongoing fees. The California LLC fee schedule includes a California LLC annual fee, which is $800 annually, and is due within 3.5 months of forming your LLC and then every April 15th thereafter."
So if you still measure money in "dollars" and "cents" then company out of reach, once count goes on "thousands" and "dollars" then yeah, of course all on company expenses, i miss it a lot.

I feel conflicted about these financial methods as they lean heavily into capitalism systems. The saying "there is no ethical consumption under capitalism" keeps ringing in my ears. "There isn't a single class, course or workshop sold on these internet streets that will truly teach those most pushed and kept on the margins how to heal their 'money wounds,' or how to be 'abundant,' because that's not the problem. We must all understand that money, and not having access to it, isn't an individual problem to be fixed...it's a systems problem that needs to be eradicated. What we call money wounds or money trauma is forced upon black and brown people [and many others] and carried through generations as a way to uphold systems and keep power in place.'' - Toi Smith

I agree. These videos are trending toward generic existing power narratives. Seeing Kiyosaki in the thumbnail and hearing her use Warren Buffet's 'frugality' as a thing to model is disappointing. These pat stories and false 'idols' never reveal the full truth - which is exactly what they're designed to do (provide cover). We know these kinds of narratives already; they are cousins to used-car salesmen. I'm looking for those with courage to speak something new.

Sure let's promote rich people trying to find loopholes to pay as little tax as possible while most of people struggle paycheck to paycheck. Poor people are the most taxed group in our society. Sorelle talks a lot about obtaining freedom and going against "the system" yet what she does it just support this system of exploitation :( Taxes exist for a reason - they pay for things everybody uses: roads, infrastructure, schools, education etc.

@Buddy big business hands out only a small percentage to its employees (I mean beside the CEOs etc). And without those employess "contributing the least" no company and no society could function. Yeah, maybe being a common Amazon warehouse worker does not require a lot of skill but without them Amazon could not exist so they should be paid a decent wage and Jeff Bezos should pay his taxes which he often does not... Tax evasion should be considered a serious crime and not something to be proud of
