Went home crying 😢 (mind you I was around mid 40's and carring for my parents) kept to myself until my Mom said "in a couple of months it's your birthday 🎂 and Christmas 🎄the next ~ we're going to buy that bird 🐦 for both of them." I'm in my 60's now, my parents died 5 years ago ~ that 'bird' Cosmo, was and is, my saving grace!💞 Say what you may, but crying is NOT manipulative!!! 😡 It's ❤ heartfelt!

Knowing that you cannot take on any more responsibility...I also understand. Time is a huge issue! And you are SOOO busy with school, work, Jersey, b-friend, family...the list goes on and on! The finches though, those two will still bring so much joy to listen to without having to worry about time or cheating on sweet lil' Jersey. You are a great parent and friend to all critters!

I have a Cockatiel named Romeo, a Lovebird named Pico and a Conure named Rainbow :) I had my Cockatiel first 3 years ago from an old coworker and he helped me get through the rough ends of Nursing School :) I love my birds so much and in general. They make me so happy!!!! That's why I'm crying too lol
My husband and I had a beautiful pair of finches many years ago. We had a crazy female roommate who absolutely hated their happy sounds. We woke up one morning and both of the little dears were dead. We never knew how she did it. She was also a kleptomaniac, but murdering those innocent birds was the absolute worst.
The guy with Jersey was nice one little foot on the guy's arm. So cute!! I feel like I've seen that guy do stand-up before 😎. He had a ready laugh, nice.

Jenna’s dad is like my mom can’t take her anywhere without her adopting an animal. Said we were going to just LOOK at dogs came home with a dog and my dad was there too so that’s really surprising that he went along with it!
It looks like you all had a great time!! I wish I could have gone there!! But, it's just as well that I didn't go - I would have had to bring a bunch of birds and toys on the plane with me back home to New York!! LOL. Like Cody thanks you every day for getting him or else he might still be out in the cold or worse but you got him so now he has a happy forever home Rocky should thank you for getting him into empire🤣 Jersey thanks you for helping her with her plucking problem and not giving up Vinny thanks you for getting him too because he was an aggressive bird and you always believed he could be a better bird and you got him to be such a sweet bird and Picasso just thanks you for everything you do for him and George he LOVES YOU EVERYDAY FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID FOR HIM🙂😊 I know this is really long sorry

I can really see why people want this type of bird but Jersey in one in a thousand. She is unique and much more engaged with you. What I've observed is that people try to make fun with their bird like "play time" and then it over, but with Jersey she just does whatever you're down and it's just fine with her. Like she is a person going along for the ride.
I've heard it's incredibly dangerous to take birds to shops as many diseases can become airborne and they can get sick quite quickly. I'm glad yall had a blast! :)
