Great stuff. I stumbled on this video because I’m purchasing an ONN device and was curious as to what you had to say about the 7 in model.
That said, finding out about the livestream was a hidden gem. Our church is currently looking for ways to upload our sermons to TH-cam in a less cumbersome fashion, and this might be it. I purchased the tablet and I’m waiting on the connection cables to fully test this out. Hopefully it works and it streamlines our process. Thank you for that.
That said, a video showing exactly how that process works, from connecting the equipment all the way to publishing the video might be beneficial for your audience. Thanks again. I’ll keep you posted as to how it goes.

thanks for the video, just bought one for 29.00 black friday sale, anyway, how do you take the pics from your android phone and transfer to this tablet? thanks.
You have any trouble setting it up? I keep getting stuck on the set up screen after the screen lock. I can't get past the Google assistant screen.
Best way to transfer videos and photos is save them on a microSD card then insert it into the ONN. Most android devices accept microSD cards as expanded storage.

Nice review. I've been looking at those at walmart. Also lookind at the onn 11" tablet pro, 128gb 4 gb ram $159. that just hitting shelves. A little big so the 7" would be nice.

I bought this last week. After one day it developed a stuck pixel, a solid green line horizontally across the screen. Took it back and got another. The second one I clicked into a case similar to for phones. It caused the front to separate from the back. I pressed it back together and it is still working. I have no complaints if it will last a year. Cheaper than a newspaper subscription.
Is there enough storage for the different reading apps? Kindle, book, hoopla, Libby, etc?

I had to return the 8 inch I bought because it kept getting a black screen after it turned on. I found a video how to deal with this black screen but it happened twice.

Hi, we want a cheap tablet for our hyperactive 5 year old boy (high risk of being broken!), is it powerful enough for kids gaming? If yes, Walmart also offers a refurbished one, could it be ok?
I have not had much luck with refurbished items. I’d buy this new. My 6 year old plays games on it. For most kids games it’s more than enough. However, it will lag and freeze when playing more intense games like Roblox.

I'm Thinking Of Perhaps Purchasing One...But I Want To See If They Are Of Good Quality...I've Had Several Tablets Since 2013...My Current One Lags...And I'm Told There Won't Be A Software Update Past Android 10...And That's Way Behind...Do Onn Tablets Receive Software Updates?
I mean the screen resolution isn't outstanding or anything. Its not a tablet for gaming. My youngest has tried to play Fortnite on it and it lags too much. So if you are gaming, by a higher priced one with a better processor. If you are watching streaming, browsing the internet, or shopping on Amazon or something, you won't have problems. Lighter games that aren't as hard on the processor also work fine. I've been completely satisfied with mine.

For any gamers out there, streaming Xbox Gamepass or GeForce Now is completely seamless. Resolution is a little lacking, but I haven't run into any issues with cloud gaming / computing

Yep, wifi only and yes you can connect to an external speaker using a 3.5mm plug.
I bought mine 4 months ago and si discharging after ten minutes from 100 to Zero :( si there any solution? I'm very dissapointed
Wow I have not heard of anyone having that problem. Contact the manufacturer and ask for a replacement. Sounds like a bad battery. We have three and they are all still working great.

If you’re having that many issues with your iPads it sounds like a user issue. My family and I have used iPads since launch and only had an issue with a 1st gen iPad Air. my sister had a battery issue and Apple replaced the iPad Air, free of charge, with an iPad Air 2 since it happened literally the day after her warranty expired.
I’ve got to say I’ve gone through a few iPads myself, the first I can’t recall why, the second I smashed the screen rlly badly and I think it was an air, then one of them the charging port stopped working after a couple years,I got the iPad 7 (2019) in mid 2020 and a few months ago replaced it with the M1 iPad Pro as there was a great deal (half RRP) and I needed that extra space. I only had 32gb on my iPad 7!
Now on the pro I’ve got 128gb space and I’m already using 60gb after a couple months. It’s nice to know I won’t have the ‘no storage’ problem downloading big games or trying to update OTA.
Most of the issues he mentioned with the iPads had to do with the charging ports. Charging ports on any device can become defective if they are mishandled. And kids are not always carful with these.

I use mine all the time and love it.
This seems a good tablet for media consumption and social media, and some light games, but I wouldn’t trust it to particularly run ‘Triple A’ mobile games, like Call of Duty mobile, Genshin impact etc with stability.
For most people a used iPad Air or Pro or maybe the iPad 9 if you are particularly budget conscious would be the best value, as you are going to get 5+ years worth of updates, and heavy duty mobile games are going to run flawlessly as the newer pro’s and air’s have at least 6gb of ram. And a heavy duty case if it’s for kids.
Another good option for a budget tablet may be the Amazon Fire, but similar caveats for gaming apply.
I primarily use it as a tv for streaming content. Amazon, Disney+, TH-cam, etc.
whats the point of it having a hotspot? i mean if theres a hotspot around already then why have it"?
If you are in a place with Wifi then you don't need a hotspot. My kids watch there tablets in the car so I have to connect it to my phones hotspot to have internet.

Have you done a review of the larger Onn tablet? I can't remember how large it gets, I know that there's an 11" Pro, but I thought that I heard that there was an even bigger one, but maybe I'm thinking of another tablet. Regarding your iPads, I have been watching @louisrossmann do iPad repairs, and other Apple product repairs for a long time on TH-cam. There is also @JessaJones , and a few others. Hopefully, I spelled their names right.
I have not reviewed the other ONN tablets. I pay for everything I review and usually only review products I’ve bought because I needed them. I don’t buy products just to review them. If one were provided I would review it though.
Just got a onn. gen 3 , Everytime I try seeing chat, or watch some TH-cam channels, it turns sideways! I have rotate OFF... any ideas?

@@morningraindrops No I was not. It is very laggy, & temperamental. I ended up fixing my Samsung tablet. They are more expensive, but, I have had mine for 4 years, and I will never go for a cheaper tablet again. Good luck! 😊

I need instructions for dummies. This is video 4 and so far nobody has shown me the most basic thing, how to turn it on and use it. Thanks otherwise.
There are three buttons on the right side. Two are the volume up and down. The third (bottom of the three) is the button you need. Hold it down to turn it on. While it’s on, push it once to put it in standby mode. Hold it down to power it off.
