I own a PC361. It's been a great board. I have loads of mellotron sounds, but no "Watcher of the Skies" sound. I've always loved that sound. I have it on my Yamaha Modx 7, but it just doesn't sound as rich on Yamaha as on a Kurzweil. Is that sound s factory setting on the new PC4, or something you created?
Thanks for the information! Wow.. that's amazing. I love Mellotrons. I've spent hours trying to recreate that sound on my PC361, but creating sounds isn't exactly my greatest strength. I may have to start saving my pennies for a new PC4. 😉@@Grubenpony12
With pleasure! On the way there, check out the MEMOTRON (if you don't already know it). You can hear the lovingly restored Mellotron sounds there, too! All the best 😉
Good evening from France, I love your curiosity and your talent to test many keyboards....but I have the feeling that you appreciate them all?...😉 Which one impressed you the most?. we live when a great time (For keyboards 🤨). Take care of yourself Patrick.
Good evening from Hamburg! Many thanks for the praise! As a keyboard player today, one lives in a wonderland that seems endless in its new developments. Every keyboard has its own character and that's why I don't want to prefer any of them. But if you want to know which one has kept me in suspense for two years: The Korg Wavestate. Have a good evening! Volker
@@Grubenpony12 It's funny, because that's exactly the answer I was waiting for!...I'm of the same opinion as you, and yet since the beginning of the 80s, I've had a lot of keyboards, some of which are very expensive, and However, this little Wavestate connected via midi to a good keyboard is a real pleasure!.
@@Grubenpony12 I also sold everything, I can't afford to collect keyboards either 🤨. I was young and could eat pasta!...now, with experience, I know what is good and above all useful.Currently I only have the Roland rd 2000, the Wavestate, and a Modx, and that is I wish you a good night. Patrick
Thank you very much! Your question is not easy to answer, because I played both keyboards only very superficially in music shops and did not penetrate into depth. The only thing I noticed was that the keyboard of the K2700 was better and the pianos sounded different. But, as I said, this is only a first impression of the surface. You can watch the other videos of the K2700 on my channel, but to make a decision I would test the K2700 extensively!
Amazing! Thanks so much for your awesome video. Very nicely presented. I hope everything is going well with you. Mark Bensette Aux Bois 🇨🇦.
Thank you so much! Everything is okay! I hope, you are fine too!
Have a great weekend!

Thank you for listening! As a Mellotron fan myself, I was totally surprised - it's a Factory sound!

You're in a better position than me: I've always sold my keyboards to have money for new ones. The Wavestate and Korg Kronos are the exception...😅
