Remember very well all of this they took it out in 1960s 67. They took out the railway bridge over the dowels road bridge of the seven valley branch to wofferton. Jnc slept in the old graveyard back in the mid 60s .. remember all of this. Wow never thought that this would ever crop up. Remember the gas works and house as well you are to young. to know it as was but you have blessed me with this footage . Used the old gwr rail car from worcester shed in B R days kidderminster to wofferton. Late 1950s . Or hartle bury. Got on at bewdley. Never thought this would ever come to light. Fantastic. Presentation . Well done. And thank you. .

A wonderful view of Bewdley High Street, I had family in Bewdley, been there many times. The river walk was beautiful and I'm so shocked that the church can just abandon their duties of the grave yard. This is a fantastic video, thank you Drew.

Walked this way many times. The 'Haunted' graveyard is a bit odd isnt it. Parts of it get decorated with xmas stuff some years

This was excellent Drew! A fantastic walk and explore. I recently walked the section to Bewdley from Highley along The Severn Way on the opposite bank of the River Severn, so it was good to see it from this side. That cemetery was amazing. Bewdley is a lovely town - but, clearly the Weatherspoons there isn't the best! Brilliant work! Take care, Paul.

I have in my possession the ganger parrafin hand lamp a BR western region lamp from that section of railway up the wyre forest branch. From the dowels section. Up to cleobury mortimer. Not for sale. As yet. He was a plate layer on that section of railway 50s 60s till closure yes i have his lamp. Oh how you have uncovered some memories for me . Thank you. Steam trains used to have spark arresters fitted to the chimneys to stop sparks setting fire to the forest banks of the line . And then setting fire to wyre forrest. There was also a navy arsenal up the ditton priors line for ammunition to be kept. Up the river rea. And the royal train kept up at burwarton at the lord byne estate. . So a lot of history in and around the area.

@@drewsoutdooradventures01 further down the river Severn . Stourport on seven. The old gas works gone. Tha sarsons vinegar factory. Gone power station gone. Redstone caves still there. The weir and lock below stourport still there . Canal and locks and basins still there worc. To Stafford canal still there. From stourport Brindley. Canal . Bewdley did not want the stinking ditch as it was called so stourport prosperd . Bewdley I believe had gas before London.
