That glitter embossing powder-you were right! It made such a difference! Great call. Snow? Not even September! We are finally getting rain again. It’s pouring now.
Oh jeez, Amy!!! I did not see this one either, I don’t think. Lordy, Lordy!!! The orange color combination looks like blood over the moon!!! Eerie!!! I love your color combinations. They cannot be beat!!! I love the wonky stitched rectangles!!! Love them!!!
I keep watching this video over and over again because I'm trying out this technique for my video this week. I love your cards so much!!! Thanks for sharing this!!!
Officially, as of 12/6/2020, you’re my favorite artist and Jennifer McGuire is my second! I’ve watched this video many times, along with the rest of yours! You and Jennifer are truly getting me through an very ugly and unwanted divorce! Not even to mention a very major, upcoming surgery, with no help! You’re both like a bright spot in my world! I love this particular ‘creepy’ moon scape! I have lots of bare/broken branches that will pair well with your tutorial! Thank you!! You’re an absolutely, amazing artist! I just discovered today, during a 10+ year old video that you posted, that you began with Stampin Up! I’m a huge fan of SU as well! Thanks again!
What a fantastic idea with the yupo mask. Thanks for sharing that. A tip for you, for some reason washing your hair with shampoo does a great job for cleaning hands, lol. These backgrounds came out amazing.I have such a tree stamp collection, I could have a lot of fun with this.
yup hair washing helps - I only wash my hair a couple times a week at most (I shower daily but not my hair) so it usually doesn't work out when I'm crafting and get my hands stained - but it honestly doesn't bother me. I wash my hands so often anyway that most staining comes off within a day or so at most
Hi Amy, I don't celebrate halloween but I like your videos so much I watched this one and so glad I did love the cards minus the halloween sentiment lol. I will try this ! Makes a beautiful night sky !
Now these are spooky night cards but as you said I too can see all kinds of things to do with it. Fall, deer by the moon, just weeds, or owls. Gosh a lit of stuff with this background. Gorgeous and a big hit. Ah! Makes s person want to make a whole batch of them!
Wow, AWESOME! And now I NEED the Distress Oxide sprays and the glittery black embossing powder and........ ;-) Seriously, what amazing backgrounds & thanks for the link to the lady who originally did them.
Amy, I agree with the hinged lid, do you think that's what was changed with versafine...but I feel like the pad is different on the versaclair?? Thanks for sharing the yupo "mask" technique, because using "regular" masking paper with this kind of inky application would be even messier!! I truly appreciate your crafty skills in card making, as not many TH-cam card makers balance mixed media and clean/simple, as well as you do!
You really need to put a disclaimer on the description, saying "Beware, this technique is addictive!" So amazing Amy! I was mesmerized!Thank you for sharing!
Love, love!! Such a great card that looks much harder to do than it is!! I can't remember the video I watched but she used a brayer on the door of the misty for even pressure!
i am really impressed with what you did with that tree stamp. the best i have seen done with it yet. i would LOVE to see you do more with this like you did with beautiful flowers and other sets you've used a few times. i love when you do that anyway, and to see you do that with this tree stamp would be awesome!
When I saw the Instagram photos, I knew you'd knock out of the park. I need more space for all these sprays I need to get. Love how this came out. Amazing. Thanks for sharing!
Love watching this video and how you are so instructional throughout the video. Got to say your voice is one I can listen to for hours in a class. Glad I came across this...
They are all fabulous, but I really like the purplish one. I'm with you on the hinged lid. Sometimes I want to break it off. I always end up with really inky fingers. I'm going to pick up some of the Versafine Clair. Thanks.
Awesome cards.. Loved the comment on the ink all over your fingers. I had that issue yesterday and decided I needed rubber gloves. 🤪 Cant wait to see more videos!
Those turned out so awesome! I am in love with that tree and the glitter embossing powder 😍😍. Great technique with the Yupo circle and destress sprays. TFS
These are way beyond fun, they are spectacular! Thought about having all kinds of fun with that pan but it would take away from the awesomeness of these lol!
the moon mask set is awesome - I got it and having the moon stencils with it is gonna be fun (plus it comes in 3 sizes in the set)- I would have used it in this video if it had been invented/available then lol
@@PrairiePaperandInk I pretty much realized you'd probably have that response, lol. Its out of stock everywhere but I'm so happy I don't have to use it!
Unbelievable cards! I find that the versafine clair is a tiny bit more intensely black and a juicier ink pad but that could just be the ink pad I have. Although I agree if you have one you don’t really need the other.
I laughed when you said you hate the hinged lid on the versafine ink pad because I feel the same way. Love the cards. I will have to try this technique
Amy, I LOVE YOUR SPOOKY CARDS! Wow they turned out amazing. I don't have any of the spray inks. With severe RA, I have concerns I won't have enough pressure to press down on spray nozzle. Maybe I'll buy one to see If I can. Thank you so much for sharing these amazing fun cards. Oh and SNOW! How spooky is that?! Waaay to early! Many years ago here in MN we got 20 inches on Halloween! Needless to say we didn't have many kids come out, had a total of 4 trick and treaters... My neighbor's kids. We made national news. I'm so not a Winter person at all. You are so talented. Love them all.
I would try out one spray and see - they do generally spray very easily (the oxide spray nozzles need to be wiped to prevent clogging - I mostly unscrew those and splatter with them tho) but I know RA can make even pressing nozzles like that difficult
OMG Amy, those backgrounds are so cool!! When you were putting each one of them into the splatter box to splatter, I thought to my self on the first one...ooooooo that's my fav...no that's my fav...no that's my fav!! I love all of them! I can't wait to try that on my granddaughter's Halloween card! Thanks for the inspiration!
Absolutely loving this technique and your cards! Getting ready to do Halloween cards and am definitely using this background! Thanks so much for the video!
I'm two years late to this party, but just love these cards. It looks so easy when you do it! Thanks for all your videos.
Same

Soooo cool! Love all the textures and colors! Fabulous cards!💖
What a cool card. The colors and the moon are awesome.
Ooooooohhhhhhh!!!!!! Theae are COOL!!!!!!!!!!!! They kind of have a 3D look to them. And I am loving that tree stamp! (Ordered it, lol!)
I keep watching this video over and over again because I'm trying out this technique for my video this week. I love your cards so much!!! Thanks for sharing this!!!
What fantastic background...these cards turned out awesome...thank you for showing the background technique....well done
Absolutely gorgeous. I love your ideas for the inside. Thank you for sharing.

Love them. I could almost see a tombstone in the bottom left corner. Thanks for sharing.
Wow.... love all that shine.

Wow these are SPOOKTACULAR !!!!!! I 💗💗💗💗 them fantastic job 😍

Yup Stacey totally deserves all the credit for this technique - it is brilliant and I'd never have come up with it on my own!!
So awesome seeing this come to life
Now I want the Distress Sprays. These are amazing. I can’t even pick a favorite.
These are so stunning and spooky
These cards are gorgeous!
OMG I am a Halloween freak. LOVE this video. Thanks
FABULOUSLY BEAUTIFUL!

Greetings from Ontario Amy Love love love these cards. 🇨🇦❤️
These cards are “fantabulous”...a great combination of fantastic and fabulous! 😲
WOW! Super cool cards and techniques😍
Pure awesomeness!
absolutely love those!
Just gorgeous (and spooky!)
LOVE these cards
I always liked the "wrap around" lids on my Versafine ink pads. They're the only one's that don't get lost or mixed up, they just tuck behind the pad.
Amy, I agree with the hinged lid, do you think that's what was changed with versafine...but I feel like the pad is different on the versaclair?? the pad is different yes but it's not a huge difference - I still feel like the formula is the same or so close they're almost exact IMO
You make the best Halloween cards!
Those 3 cards are small works of art, Amy! Lots of detail and different mix of colors. Awesome!
Love them! Spooktacular!
You really need to put a disclaimer on the description, saying "Beware, this technique is addictive!" So amazing Amy! I was mesmerized!Thank you for sharing!

I am also jealous of your cold weather
Love watching this video and how you are so instructional throughout the video. Got to say your voice is one I can listen to for hours in a class. Glad I came across this...
I totally agree I could listen to her all day long .

Great idea!

Wow! These are just sooooo pretty!!! I love this. You’re very talented. You make this look easy!
Love them. I need that black glitter embossing powder.
These are awesome. I absolutely have to try this💕💕
Cool cards! Snow?? We’re still in the 90’s here in TX. I’m so ready for the cool weather.
I laughed when you said you hate the hinged lid on the versafine ink pad because I feel the same way. Love the cards. I will have to try this technique
Carri Tobler me three ☺️
Don't you just wrap it around to the back of the ink pad? Mine have a double hinge allowing it to sit underneath the pad.
You can flip it to the back but I am very klutzy with ink pads so I always drop them or the hinged lids flip back on me.
These are so pretty!
