  • On July 12th 2022, the Japan Society of Northern California hosted a tasting event featuring Kioke Shoyu (Soy sauce fermented in wooden barrels). Three master craftsmen from Japan presented how their traditional manufacturing process creates distinctive flavors and aromas unlike the other industrialized soy sauce manufacturers. After hearing from the experts, everyone enjoyed tasting three types of Kioke Shoyu with delicious food!
