@@PopalongRC you’re very welcome, loved that you commented over the the race. I really really wish I could find time to get involved! It very frustrating, maybe next year.
Very smooth looking drive, will be interesting to see visually what your TLR runs were like on the same track for comparison. Great stuff as always and well done to the pair of you 👍
I started out with the RB10 which was great car but the rear motor cannot compete with mid motor cars so this was third outing for the new LD3. More RB10 content is on the horizon
@@PopalongRC Okay, that's clear and understandable. Makes sense if you are looking for the win. (Thinking of getting into this lark but not sure how much greenback to drop)
@Sp3ktral22 might be some cheap LD2 about since the release of the LD3 I think the LD3 is a great car but not a budget option RB10 with give you experience and a taste of racing before you go all in .. See what entry level classes local clubs run and be guided by the locals
What electronics you running in the car? I’m looking to get back into my childhood hobby after a 20 odd year hiatus thanks to a nephew showing interest, but so much has changed tech wise “I still remember the jump from 1700 to 2000 cells 😂” Would love to see an “Up To Speed” video for the #getterbackinnerers
@@PopalongRC Another vote for this future video, following you guys for inspiration to get back into it after a 20 year break. Quick question, what's the most universal transponder to suit most clubs would you say? That's one thing I'm struggling to find online
This is really great to see and you are enjoying your self too thanks for sharing
Well done, car looks good.
Cheers Kevin

Great racing Carl and i guess we should include Mark.....
He was holding the camera for my final

Good job Boss. Both you and Mark are really starting to power up. The more of the LD3, the more I like it.
Outstanding driving …!! 😎🍻🦾🔥
Cheers buddy
Congrats!

Looks like your starting to dial the LD3 in very nicely :) Thanks for sharing. Keep up the great work :)
Cheers Johnny

The heavily modified TLR was about 2 laps quicker than my TLR and it was third behind me running the LD3 … so it is about 2 laps quicker already
`Nice work, looked really good for a few laps there. Marks car looked like it was on rails.
He was on it at DMS
I know time can be tight on these nights, but would be interesting to hand the control over to Mark to see what he thought of the LD3’s setup.
He will probably break it in recent form
Looking good 😊
Nice driving mate! 👍🏻. The difference between you driving the TLR and LD3 is night and day. It will only get better with more driving time with it.
Such a nice car to drive … still got a way to go to catch mark but I think it is no-longer impossible
Great video
Cheers blue
Great racing and for sure soon you will be 1st place
Next time
Can you do a video on how you have set up electrics for your Cougar. I'm just getting back into sport and would be really useful
Cool readout of this race, but I though that you were driving an Associated RB 10? Or was that last years car, just for testing?

Speed isn't everything as you have just proven mate... Get it handling in a consistent predictable way and you'll be faster than most👍👍👍👍
