There are also disorders of the fight or flight response that cause a person to "freeze" rather than react, but this would also not be that since there was no shocking/dangerous stimuli here to invoke the "fight or flight" response. As a schizophrenic, I have had "thought blocking" which is when your thoughts suddenly disappear, usually in the middle of a sentence. This is not the same as being forgetful. It can be mild to where I have some awareness of it happening or it can be severe where I have no clue it has happened. When it is severe, to those watching, it appears that I've suddenly stopped talking for no reason, stared for a second, then carried on doing something else like I'd completely forgotten I was having a conversation at all. This video would also not be this as the woman would not have carried on laughing after the pause. She would have stopped, as the thoughts fueling her laughter would be suddenly gone from her mind.

The freezing in place is a real thing that I believe Sam and Colby had mentioned past patients at one of the locations they explored having, the patients would just freeze into place sometimes for hours before moving again

I freeze in place sometimes because of mental disorders not usually for too long but it still happens and sometimes it becomes disassociation and I loose memory and track of time so yeah it’s a real thing ^^
