When it comes to Chinese level design, they always believe that Zombie + Objective spam = hard and fun level. Tbh this isn’t as BS as some of the other levels you’ve showcased, but this looks like something you’d see on like level 100 of an endless zone with all of the gargs. Great video!

Yeah like they should do that for a Saint Patrick's day event where thw entire lawn is filled with beans and you have to dig up plants you don't want, thus making it a fun RNG level

I’m pretty sure that some of these levels are fan made, taken from the level editor, so when thinking about it that way, it’s pretty sneaky what they did if that’s the case. That would mean that they added this editor as a way to get others to make the levels for them, and then slap on the objectives. I also think that these levels were barely (if at all) play tested, so we can get Little Timmy-esc levels like this one in the mix.

Nothing stops them from just editing it to have that extra stuff thrown in, IIRC objectives, the timer, and stuff like Magic Fog are also unavailable there, but they can easily add it when altering the stolen level.
This level was a great showcase of two things: 1- garg spam and beans don't add up to good design. 2- Kernel-pult is absolutely incredible at stalling gargs
first wave garg spawner is certainly an interesting concept (especially with how comically easy garg is to deal in pvz2) but 2 is just pushing it and the fact it ramps up is just disgusting
Honestly, with some readjusting, I could see this level being a pretty fun challenge. My changes would be to drop the sprout gimmick entirely, move the tents closer to the right side of the lawn, and don’t have the tents spawn Gargs until Flag 1 at the earliest (Which means this level would probably become a 4 flag level).
That really did look hard, u badly need the luck before playing this round. But when I saw spam gargs, knew turkeypult would be very handy in this level lol. Nice video again, always amazing and entertaining!!
To be honest this is more a showcase of how big of a garg counter turkey is... this level doesnt even look like it would be that bad with some better communication, at least not nearly as bad as some of the other crap so far. I hate levels that require certain plants and this definitely fits.
heres how to fix this level: make the tents that spawn gargs have less HP, or just lower the levels of the gargs. if they did that. this level would be good!

The Second Attempt should have been enough if you used Plant Food on Cold Snap and then in the Turkey Pult, because for what I've noticed the Costumed Cold Snap Freezes the entire screen
How to create a horrible level in PvZ 2: fill it with portals, put a bunch of objectives, just put super strong zombies and that's it, your level is ready
Oh, and the only way to permanently remove a plant with the Beam gimmick is on is by 1: Have it get abducted in anyway, parrots, wormholes or black hole. 2: Have a zombie burn it
Here is a suggestion for a Horrible Level Design video: PVZ 2 Reflourished: Modern Day 40. It was unbelievably hard and no matter what I tried, I had to use power-ups. It may be just me, but this level absolutely sucks, especially with the Rodeo Legend Zombie.
todays pinata level is very horrible, it gives you the worst plants for the level and just spams chicken zombies and coneheads and expect you to complete it using fume shroom and repeater
Hey, love the content, but I've got a question. So, for the leveling system of pvz2 China, the plants gain 50% more health and damage right, but is it multiplicative or additive. Basically, we will say a plant does 100 damage a shot at level 1, level 2 would always make it do 150, but would level 3 do 225 damage, or 200 damage?
So quick question, how have you beaten the Vase Artifact quest? Unless I'm tackling the wrong level, the Z-Corpion Elite always throws vases onto the first column, and always ends up getting me killed by a chicken or something. Have any tips?
There's isn't a good way to deal with him. I had a level 5 Peashooter with Torchwood to kill him as fast as possible when I did it. There won't always be zombies thrown on column 1 so luck is also a factor.
I used level 2 Cactus along with Squash, Lava Guava, Primal Sunflower and Heath Seeker. Cactus took care of chickens (except the ones spawning on the first column at times). Also interestingly, Heath Seeker's cooldown is exactly same as cool down of Z-Corpion Elite's Attack time. I used this as an advantage and used Heath Seeker every time he launched Vases, pretty much clearing the lawn.
I found a horrible level from PvZ 2. It’s from extra hard level from ancient city and it’s in level 7 that it’s locked and loaded and I only had cherry bomb to kill zombie and the object is never spend more than like 1900 sun and can you make that video it’s hard and annoying and I did use power ups to beat it and cherry bomb only so 3x3 area of explode so this gonna be episode 7
You have to go to the artifacts menu and beat the level associated with the artifact (this only applies to this one and the Healing Staff). Heads-up though, it's not easy without good plants.

Don't forget some PvZ 2 and 1 mods too, they rely on the player having insane min maxing skills and spam to always make a level hard.

The bean gimmick looks super cool and fun. Everything else, not so much.

Yeah, there aren't even gold tiles for Imp Porters to spawn regular tents. It's limited in a lot of ways.

these memory lane levels definitely have the level design to ever exist in the history of pvz 2
Garg tents sound kinda interesting, but they need way more build-up, and the beans making Instas worse is just cruel.
