So I read Malazan for the first time this year, started GotM January 23rd or so, finished tCG May 9th, then started GotM again immediately, am on RG again now :) :) So when I started getting heavy into Malazan, I starting watching a ton of Malaztube videos, of course. And I had some of your videos saved to watch later, once I'd read all the books. Then when I finished tCG, I went to a video of yours and saw... private 😔 I was so confused for a while lol But I DID find your twitter, saw you were running for office, and figured that was the reason. So it's great to hear that I was right! Totally understandable for you to be safe than sorry!! I did also see that your videos were back up some weeks back (probably when you popped into the TVBB discord to randomly promote your TtH video... or maybe right before that), so I was FINALLY able to see your Malazan Postmodern video, which was what I really wanted to see. And it was AWESOME, I've had a great time watching some of your videos as well as the discussions you've participated in other people's channels (like Jimmy Nutts) -- so I'm glad you're back!! Good luck on your political career, I could see from your Twitter that we're pretty well politically aligned, and if I lived in your district I would definitely vote for you!!! I hope you win :)
Welcome back! Throne of Blood is great. The "Lady Macbeth" performance is superb. I like it so much better than Kurosawa's other Samurai Shakespeare remake, Ran, his version of King Lear. It looks amazing. The cinematography is gorgeous. But the pacing is so bad. There are some great moments in it, but overall I thought it was a slog of film.

If you're going to be uploading less frequently then I think you should lean into that and just upload what is exciting you. Don't feel obligated to output "content". P.s. I’ve heard that about later Simmons, but I really do adore Hyperion. And it got me to read some Keats, which was great.
