This mobile lift cart was designed for a military installation to raise and lower highly sensitive optics for placement and service with precision and high stability.
It is manually powered by a hand crank worm gear winch system, which lifts at 0.8″ per revolution. The slow raising and lowering speed is a requirement for the extreme sensitivity of the end user’s application. This mobile lift cart can be modified to accommodate faster speeds, including various power options.
