I don't really understand what's going on with Torlak, at first it seemed like he knew the war was a farce, hated that and was just doing the bare minimum to not be removed and replaced with a true fanatic. Now he sounds like he's gone power crazy.
He is in to deep. If they lose he dies in disgrace for what he did. The only good outcome for him is if his side wins and they can then spin it.
Plus he knows that if he turns the council will kill his family. (Even though atm, they are safe)
Him fantasizing about getting a seat on the war council doesn't really mesh with him feeling like his family has been taken hostage by the council.
But yeah, it could be just that he's in too deep and feels like the only way for him to retain any honor is to triple down.
It's just the sunk cost fallacy playing out in the plain field

It occurred to me that the war for Humanities part is essentially being fought with just the 7th fleet and the 4th Raider Battalion. Meaning its using 1/7th of its naval power and a fraction of its ground capability, assuming there are only 7 fleets.
TRSC has way more fleet than just 7, if I remember the 7th fleet is only consists of outdated ships to be decommisioned they got new ones already in production

But I think their number fleets is just their main active force, but they definitely had more

I think i recall at the start of the series something was said about their forces being stretched thin (probably dealing with piracy and insurrectionists would be my guess). So that makes me wonder just how fast terran territory really is here plus it kind of would explain why they are only commiting such a small portion of there potential forces to the war.
One thing about this. Sellia single handedly held off the Union. And Terra is spanking Sellia, literally, like children that are out of their depth. Which means in the future the Union would be screwed. But something tells me that the Union is going to be another hard fight for some reason

Tor leads strike on humans space talking slaves and killing ( though he feels bad about it but still does it) losses meny battles then lies to everyone to save his honor because if his people find he lead and chose to take slaves he was the same as the union. Union the enemy of his people
