Tbh I don’t really like Simple sets in BH because of the prevalence of things like Fur Coat and Unaware that make setup sweepers harder to use. But I do like the fact that you used it on Mega Alakazam, and it actually seems cool!
@@anyaforger844this is still worse, least we can predict and use protect in the z move or sum, meanwhile in bh theres nothing stopping a mega alakazam from sweeping with simple no Retreat or variants of that

Nice to see Showdown videos in the lesser known and more interesting tiers!
No retreat is significantly better on a ghost type, I recommend trying it!
Yeah Ghost Types get no drawback from No Retreat as Ghosts are Immune to Trapping Effects.
I learned that from Randbats with Tera Ghost Falinks
That’s why I like prankster topsy turvy.. shuts down most hackmon sweepers
A trick that I used to run:
Metagross with Simple, so Mega Stone and get the Tough Claw Ability after mega evolve
u should try jaw lock + no retreat bc if youre trapped before using no retreat you can use it infinitely

I instead use Prankster + Heart Swap then Baton Pass the stats to my sweepers
@@wintuwa9012 same i use that on eternatus. i also sometimes have destiny bond just incase
I like how the discord post said how where using a extremely unbalanced set in balanced hackmons
Yeah 😂 you know, "Balanced" isn't exactly the word I'd use this format, but oh well 😅
@@RivalNattyI mean it's balanced compared to natdex ph (z-moves running around etc)

Simple advice: Run shed shell as your item, so you avoid being trapped.
No point, having +2 stat boosts is good enough for a sweep, meaning switching is useless
You need the Alakazamite to mega evolve though

@rivalnatty how did extreme speed become super effective against garchomp?
Diance had Pixilate which transforms normal type moves into fairy type, boosting them at the same time, and fairy is obviously super effective on Garchomp :)
Seems like using a dark type with power grip would be better, since unaware dark types won’t wall you.
Photon geyser/sunsteel strike/moongeist beam are all really good as well cause they ignore ability and do really good damage.
What are your top 3 favourite Gen 4 Pokemon?
Mine are
1. Carnivine
2. Gallade
3. Dusknoir (Yanmega, Porygon Z and Electivire are all amazing too though!)
Lucario
Garchomp
Gliscor
1. Gallade
2. Garchomp
3. Giratina

Infernape

3. Turtwig
Can you use Psyblade Sharpness Gallade in STABmons
I did this, but with arceus dark + power trip.
uhhhh where is balanced hackmons nat dex? i cant find it
This is gen 9 BH. They shut down nat dex BH after they found you can hack all pokemon (including megas) into gen 9, making them essentially the same.
Oh...interesting. I haven't played BH recently and was about to say this must be ND because it has Megas.
