    Megan; that's so incredibly scary and traumatic about you getting electrocuted!! Holy crap!! Blessings to you!
    You did an AMAZING job with this interview; so many important points covered.
    I have done a few business courses, and agree that most business plans are so irrelevant to small businesses. My business (goal to earn $40,000.00 per year) isn't considered viable, so I have not been able to get funding. Oh well, can't stop me; I am just chugging along like the Little Engine that could.
    Cheers from The Bahamas!

      Haha! Yup, the electrocution was no joke! Glad to be alive!
      So glad you enjoyed the interview!
      And yes, I totally agree that most business plans just put people off. It's better to start off more manageably and tangible. That's what module 1 in my course is all about. And from there there's loads more about running a jewellery business.
      Sounds like you are super dedicated, and that's number 1 to being successful!
      You know where to find me if you need any help.
      Warm wishes to you too

    What action do you take when a manufacturer or shop copy your designs?

    • @megan.collins
      @megan.collins  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a tough one! You can pursue it legally, but you will need all kinds of evidence. Like proof of when you came up with the design. Proof of how much the infringement has negatively impacted your business etc... At the time I didn't think it was worth it. Getting lawyers involved and having to pay them. Hope it doesn't happen to you!

      Than you Megan! Very much appreciated for your reply. Sadly one of the manufacture wouldn’t sign NDA, so still went along on verbally based. 😐
