Yep your 100% correct on those Harbor Freight connectors, It only takes another buck or so to go first class! They’re not worth the frustration period” And you want a good solid connection being it’s your fairing and good quality tunes...

Thanks Jack. Definetly have to take your time, and don't do anything your not comfortable with until fully ready and committed. If I were not comfortable with the speaker girls method, I would of had to make a template out of cardboard.
Nice, I'll bet they will sound great with the amp you put in. Stuff some foam in the speaker boxes. Fill them up. The base will sound great.
Won't be any base. Just mids and highs..

Yeah great job. Too much work for me though. I had a shop install the BT amp and Polk Speakers cause I get no joy out of this. I can see this install is gonna take a while ;). Can't wait to see it done and how it looks.

I hate to tell you this after watching you agonize over the letter position....But I believe the tweeters rotate and pivot :-|

Yes they do . Still worked out great. I can rotate them a little, not that much though.
Your over head on me this job. Just worrying about the speakers getting wet in rain.
They are Marine Grade ... See the video where unbox them and the radio and I speak about that.
Waiting for install to see how it looks and rides so I can make my decision on one : )

Their mold is good but they need to update it. They also messed up on the DIN.
I'm very into it in the next video .
what are your plans for the deluxe faring,will it be up for sale
The deluxe fairing has broken tabs on t he bottom unfortunately.
I think the tweeters on Polk speakers are “turntable” to a certain degree. If that helps. Also, what are your plans for GPS moving forward? (Being the old one was inside the fairing).
You are 100% right. I noticed that while installing.
I will install a small side mount that will allow me to still use the GPS. I did consider changing upgrading to a better GPS, but don't see the point. I barely use it, unless on trips.
Dbest1a’s Ride yah I agree. I traded in the deluxe last fall for a road glide and the boom box gts audio system actually has a great gps in it and I still don’t use it lol.
Lol. You got the new improved system I bet. I test rode the road glide... In the test rides playlist.. It was such a smooth ride aerodynamically. Really loved it. Fit and finish was top notch too.
I just would need more time to adjust to the front end extra weight. Im really used to a fairing in tight turns.

Sometimes it happens. You just have to try, and think it through. Then double ,or even triple check the work. On the last speaker, one of the holes I started to drill i had to bail on it haha ...
