Very few businesses have influenced a commonman like Jio...and I am forced to recollect that the same effect was prevalent in 2003 when the Reliance communication was launched and they were giving handsets and free talktimes to customers who were paying for incoming calls as well. Economies of scale is what papa Ambani was good at and the same technique is used by the M.Ambani as well. They are very attuned to the Indian landscape. M.Ambani can second guess what a farmer or a kirana store guy is thinking.
