- My friend Josh and I shot our limit in about 30 minutes this morning. The glory of the Lord was overwhelmingly evident, shown by they beauty of creation!

From what you were seeing before legal shoot time, you could have had Josh shoot his non-mallard at any time. He would have had plenty of opportunities for greenheads (and did). Nice hunt.

What a cacophony of duck noises before shooting time; nothing better than the sound of wings beating and them hooting and hollering while you wait. Great hunt, you put the time in to find em and did a masterful job of shooting them. 👍

Such an amazing scene to have captured on video! Thank you for sharing. As an aside, Romans 13:1 is one I recite regularly to try to not get caught up in the vitriol of the current administration, however challenging that proves to be some days.
Thanks. But don’t forget the verses after, 13:2-5. We are to do what is right, the govt should punish wrongdoers. But if the govt is doing the wrongdoing, then do we still listen and obey the govt? I think not.
@@cherrycreekoutdoors3107 Doing what is right does not necessitate vulgarity thrown at members of the opposing political party. I'm with you, there is a lot evil in D.C., but that can only be overcome with His light. God put Biden there for a reason. I won't question that, only work to serve His Word.

See, if that was me, I would have had the hardest time squeezing off that first shot for fear that they’d all take off and I wouldn’t get to see any more of the show. It was amazing to see y’all drop birds and then more birds just come right in behind and try to land.
I was worried about that too be it was a non issue that day!

“ AWW A SHOOTING STAR!” 😂 I bought fell out the chair. 1000 ducks that’s nothing, come to south East costal GA and I’ll show you 1000 coots , 100,000 mosquitos 🦟 200-300 alligators. We will get up at 2300 the day prior to make sure we are first on the X , drive down the river 2 miles, pull over 3 dikes, drag the boat through waste deep mud (if the tide is low) then push it 400 yards in ankle deep water,and if your lucky you’ll kill 1 duck (probably a merg). You’ll do all the same work to make sure you’re out of the impound by noon, drive the 45 minutes home, wash the boat, breast out your merg or ruddy buddy, and then take a nap in your chair. You’ll wake up eager with expectation for the next weekend, all the while watching guys like you on TH-cam kill the illusive mallard that guys like us only dream of. 😂
I'm not sure I'd go thru all that for a merg!
@@cherrycreekoutdoors3107 buddy from West Tennessee was stationed on the USS Florida with me is the one who taught me how to duck hunt… he did it… and you’d do it to if it’s all you got 😂. Good news is fast forward about 10 years, he’s retired and back home and invited a few of us up last year and we were able to harvest the illusive Pintail! No Mergs on that trip 😂
