@@DenimDarlin I got my engineer boots about 4-5 months ago. An option Brian gives is to make them super snug to begin with so they expand for a perfect fit. I chose to do that. When I got them I could barely get them on. I had to put plastic bags on my feet, no socks and super thin shoehorn. But over the months the leather has relaxed and now they fit like a glove. I got the hand finish, and the brown (tea core) is starting to come through where the leather flexes. I have lots of boots (Wesco, Nick's, White's etc.) but these are in a completely different league. IMO they are worth it if you wear them a lot. I love mine.
