- Did someone day £250 chocolate Easter egg? Join me on another luxury shopping trip to the glorious Fortnum and Mason on Piccadilly. Today it's all about Easter and also on the hunt to find some treats under £10. What will we find?!

Chocolate Rabbits, eggs, and petite jellybeans were always an easter staple growing up in New Jersey during the 1970's. Love watching easter candy vids, chasing the ever-elusive perfect easter basket.

In the States we have dye hard boiled eggs and also chocolate eggs and other sweet.
The blue colour of tins gets me every time that their displays seem prettier then Harrods would be we will see next week. Easter is the cutest time I think the colours are so happy after the blah winter. Mothers day is in mid May in Canada. Good $10 spend the cards were amazing I would keep that kind of card forever!!! There used to be a shop in Brighton and a branch in Covent Garden London called Choccy Woccy Doodah, that sold chocolate eggs (amongst other shapes) for hundreds of pounds. Visited there a few times and some of the designs were works of art.
I'm traveling to London from the states for Easter. So the timing of this video is perfect.
Those greeting cards are indeed really nice! The 3D definitely adds to the presentation and all of the details so well done. Twice a week videos are also going well and must take a lot of work, so hat's off to you

I was at Fortnum and Mason in October. I’m from California and I couldn’t wait to find the place. I spent a fortune in there but I’ve never seen anything that compares to that store in California! I love your Videos and London. I would live there if I could. My husband went to boarding school in England and lived In London as a boy before moving to South Africa when he was 12 years old. He tells me stories about all his boiled food he had to eat at his boarding school and to see this beautiful store he was flabbergasted. Anyway we have been to London 9 times and each time we did different things. I still have a long list of things I want to see and do so we will be back. I couldn’t believe all the food Markets they have there now and how they are so popular. Thank you for sharing.❤

Because of you, I am now regular customer at Fortnum & Mason. I have been making several online purchases from them and have it shipped to the US since the last Holiday. The conversion price to USD is surprisingly affordable. The shipping charge is a bit steep but doable. I recently bought 6 boxes of the pates de fruits. Thank you for showing us the wonderful side of fine gourmet food of what England has to offer.

I grew up in Ireland and we had the MOST fabulous chocolate eggs in beautiful boxes and foil paper - and the thrill was opening the eggs and finding the fabulous chocolates inside!

Another great £10 Tuesday challenge, Hannah. Thanks for sharing the treats at Fortnum’s for Easter. It was great to see so many things that were within your budget this week. The Rory Dobner line is beautiful. Dundee cake is a rich fruit cake with lots of orange (celebrating Dundee as the home of marmalade) and topped with rings of whole almonds. The one from Fortnum’s is okay…a little dry. The shortbreads you got looked a treat! Looking forward to Friday’s vlog! Have a wonderful week!

Lamingtons are huge here in Australia where it is claimed they were invented. If you try one, take it home and have it with dollops of your favourite jam and lots of delicious cream! I love F&M! Thank you for the video. Appreciated!
I am British and grew up in the UK. We had Easter eggs every year. I have lived in Spain for the past 20 years and not one child here that I have asked ( I am a teacher ) has heard of getting chocolate eggs for Easter. Great Video Hanna.x

@@RosemaryStudy Gee, it just occurred to me, I live in Canada and we used to be able to buy Hovis bread in any grocery store and you just can't anymore.
I'm sure it's widely available throughout the UK. I cannot tell you how much I miss Hovis bread.

You introduced me to F&M and now I'm obsessed!! Half my suitcase was filled with treats and souvenirs from Fortnum's. My neighbor goes to London on business and always asks if I have an order for tea. (Yes, Royal Blend, please) 😉AND!!! My sweet friend from Scotland sent us a hamper for Christmas! I just about cried tears of joy! The hamper has a place of honor by our fireplace. Those cards are darling!!!! I missed those!

@@sucook8621 yes of course I’ve watched it. The huge hollow ones with little cute shaped candies are everywhere. Also the cream filled ones in lots of different flavors. There are so many options and so many brands. At least where I live there are. Too bad that’s all you can get where you live. I guess you will have to order them online.
@@AuntBecky1 wow then, I lived in Ann. Arbor and now Boston and never seen anything remotely like a hollow egg. You do live in a metropolis! I just go to the Brit shop and buy uk ones there and so many USA friends do also as they have never seen anything like them 🤣
@@sucook8621 lol not at all. If you don’t like what they have at Target, Walgreens, Walmart or Williams Sonoma you could try your local chocolatier or confectioners. That’s were the very special ones are my father used to get for my mother. Even the local grocery stores have the cheaper imported ones.

I see when I get to London I have my eye on that 20pd Tin and a F&M bag and a few treats too! I got a Lindt dark chocolate bunny from a discount store a few days ago for $2.99 and it is so good. In New Zealand, we definitely have chocolate eggs as well as rabbits etc. And as you read this NZ is 12hrs ahead time wise (so my Wednesday ) - and it shows you only posted 4hrs ago. You dp so well with posting - Keep up the great work.

Lovely video Hannah. It's the first day of spring today as I watch this and we are supposed to get snow on Friday (New York State). I'm from Canada and have lived in the USA for the last 17 years. Easter eggs are definitely a big thing in Canada and the US.
Lovely MiuMiu sunnies Hannah! F&M is one of my favorite shops to visit especially before the holidays. F&M packaging of their products are some of the best combinations of color and style. Those 3D cards are ingenious and could be displayed anytime versus a Christmas theme card. The food floor there and at Harrod’s offers some of the finest food and pastries available. Always have to read the tins of tea labels closely, preferring the loose leaf over the bag. Great video Hannah! Thanks!!
