I think you should add a bunch of flies around the carcass and Lambeosaurus, as well as a bird perched on the Lambeosaurus's crest or back. As for the water, maybe a turtle sunning itself on a branch covered in moss and some floating plants. You should also make the Gorgosaurus's eye more defined, just a tiny pinprick of a white dot will work.

This has inspired me to actually use the paint lying around somewhere again, I’ll probably start in a few millennia.

Two water plant suggestions: air root things you often see in swamps and horsetails

  • @DryptosaurusDavid

    Some ideas you should add:
Wing folded pterosaur in the background
A school of freshwater fish in the background
An extinct turtle in the water.
    A swimming dromaeosaur
    Background ideas:
    Conifer details in the background?
    Flying pterosaur in the background?

Why do I feel like this would make a good ASMR video.
Edit: 5:00 Oh this is right up my alley! I love studying paleoflora!
I don’t think I have the best suggestions (because I think you already know these plants already). But I would suggest Equisetum, and Pistia, for the foreground maybe. Not only were both of these found in the Dinosaur Park formation, but they would probably be found in the landscape you’re painting.
Equisetum, (belonging to horsetails) are common around rivers; and Pistia are straight up aquatic. In fact they’re also called water cabbage. These aren’t good suggestions, but I’ll do further research. As this is a topic I love learning more about.

I’ve thought of equisetum and pistia, I probably should look into the subject more tho.

      @Diloparker ปีที่แล้ว

@@ichthyovenator3351 Yea, it’s best to be careful about that. That’s another reason why I said they weren’t good suggestions. After I made this comment. I thought, “Fu€% it, I will just make a video about flora throughout the Mesozoic era.”
I’m planning on doing the research after I release another video about the evolution of alien plants first. (Because apparently I’m some damn botany loon) So it may not be much help here.

Maybe a Fluvionectes pooking their head out of the water in the distance? I don't know if they're from the upper or lower Dinosaur park formation but I do know they are from the formation.

i like that you painted something that gets overlooked in most paleoart: the scavanging behaviour that herbivores occasionally engage into

Awesome piece it looks great! in my opinion adding another dinosaur or megafauna may make the piece feel a little clustered although a mammal or small reptile would be a great embellishment can’t wait to see the finished piece
Also I don’t know if I just don’t know better but are the front limbs of the lambeosaurus a little thin ?
