I think it’s sad when they cut the scenes where Carl talks about how he feels and his mentality cuz it really explains his actions at that time, without it, some people just see him as a reckless kid

They should’ve kept the scene between Carl and Beth in the final cut, it’s my favourite deleted scene and I loved the dynamic shared between Chandler and Emily. The characters could relate as they both lost their mother and it really gave insight as to the kind of things that were going around inside Carl’s head. I adored the strong reassurance from Beth delivered in lines like “Not always, but enough” and “I think my mom and your mom and everyone we loved is in heaven“ etc. Also Beth was still only a reoccurring character during season 3 so she deserved more moments like this to shine.

But in the show, with that gone, hes just seen as another dumb kid doing stupid things. Theres alot of things that were cut when Frank Darabont was fired, and I think its a damn shame. We as fans of the comics were robbed of the perfect zombie television show by AMC and I will never live that down.

I wish they included more of Carls thoughts and feelings, they shouldn’t have deleted this it was or could’ve been a great character build. Carls expressing his feelings to Beth about his mom’s death and how he had to put her down and his thoughts about heaven, and his dad being upset about it, it was all part of his maturing. Without these scenes Carl seemed like a mess. It’s great to hear him talk about it. Beth and Carl were similar in some ways, this is a great interaction.
He wasn’t legally allowed to hold a real gun, so they edit it in post to make the bottle shatter and the gun more realistic, but since they deleted it, they didn’t have to bother with all that editing
I think that it's about time that they show what really happened to Sofia/Sophia why she ended up in that barn. Maybe before season 9 begins,cause the TWD fans needs to know what happened to every of their characters.......

Lori loved rick so much more than shane. When she found out he was alive obviously she was going to go back to rick. Beth’s actress is very good, but I wish Beth was a bit younger, it was kinda weird how she had a semi-romantic arc with both Carl and Daryl when the dynamic with Carl was good excluding the age gap and the one with Daryl could have been less weird if they made it easier to tell how much younger she was than him.
Beth was 17 when they first met, almost 19 during the half romance with Daryl. I don't think they ever mentioned it but Daryl is late twenties to mid thirties. He's at least 15 years younger than merle who's in his 50s

She wasn’t in the barn, later it’s revealed by Randall that his group kidnapped a girl from the woods a few weeks prior when Daryl is interrogating him. Have an episode added on where Rick’s group tries to hunt down Randall’s group to save Sophia but when they arrive to the camp they see how heavily armed it is and they almost die in the fight only to find Sophia isn’t there. Then have it be revealed at the end of the Season that Michonne saved Sophia from Randall’s group and she will be so to Michonne and Andrea when they go to Woodbury. Sophia could act as the Governor’s new daughter figure due to his real daughter being a Walker. Sophia would be saved from Woodbury at the end of Season 3 by Rick’s group and finally would be reunited with Rick’s group after being missing for so long. She’d survive until the end with Carl and would build a relationship with him later on. She would survive the Prison being destroyed by the Governor and would end up at Terminus after reuniting with Glenn as well as meeting Abraham’s group for the first time. She’d survive Terminus alongside Carl and both would make it all the way to Alexandria.
