Years ago, I was a technician with CN Telecommunications. Back in the mid 70s, I worked in Northern Ontario and frequently rode freights. The offices I worked in were always next to the tracks and, in a couple of towns, right in the rail yard. I could see a lot of trains back then, just by looking out the window or stepping out of the office.

This is possibly one of the closest things I’m gonna get to good compilations of the CN Waukesha sub as I can never find any trains on there even though it’s the same ones that use the EJ&E! Also this video is a bit celebratory for me as I just saw the CN OCS cars deadheading to god knows where on a stack train today! Thank you A Train 4014 Productions!

Nice video compilation of Canadian National engines, Andrew! I have two fallen flag railroads that are now part of the Canadian National. The first is the Grand Trunk Western because my late Uncle Leonard worked for them from sometime in the 1950s to about 1983 when he retired. He worked at Blue Island, Illinois and at Harvey, Illinois as a yard clerk. The other would be the Illinois Central. I used to live in Hazel Crest, Illinois. The east side of Hazel Crest abuts the Illinois Central's Markham Yard.

2:45 where in Michigan did you catch that locomotive? I've seen that EJ&E many times in Royal Oak.

I hate to falsely accuse someone but the engineer on the 2nd train looked like he was giving you the peace sign and then brought 1 finger down to let you know you're number 1. Did i see that correctly? I'm watching from my tv.
That engineer on the second train was cool with us when we filmed his train. He wanted to get on camera and did a nice pose for us as the train crossed the diamond. -Andrew Mangalindan
