This city exhausted me...because I couldn't help but walking everywhere like a fool! I had less than 8 hours to spend over there and everything around was so worth seeing and visiting I was hoping that the streets I hadn't seen yet would be disappointing so that I could have a little rest...But every one of them were equally wonderful. This is the kind of town you should stay in a whole week or so if you want to appreciate all its magnificience. Stop by in Lvov during spring or summer if you are interested in feeling the local atmosphere : people are nice, the city is animated and the blossoming nature adds a taste of perfection to the whole picture.
+Лера Андреевна Built by Polish, that's the fact you won't loudly speak about. Taken from Poland and given to Ukraine by Stalin in spite of that was one of major Polish cities of whole times. Now you describe it like your own... Its pathetic
You should have seen it before the second war, as a grate polish metropolis, with its climate and its people, with its street life, boheme, particular language and culture, happiness. Now everything is gone... But this city with its incredible spirit is made of many great cultures: austro-hungarian , polish, jewish... now totaly removed but not forgoten!
polish actor Christopher Milkowski 1960-87 died on movie set of film Crossing 1988/ war movie/ polish title Przeprawa 1988/ he played in the film Republic of hope 1986/Republika nadziei 1986
This city is made of greats cultures influences: polish, austro-hungarian, jewish, and the ucranian principal contribution is just remove all this wealth . So if you could imagine what it was before the soviet and ucrainian domination... Now its just a shadow of its cultural glory. I recomand to look for som history information.

Very nice Polish city
+Darek Marc ile nie mów "chałwa", a w ustach nie będzie słodziej ;)
Лучше б було - "Wędrowny muzykant" або "Wędrowny grajek", якщо писати по-польськи :)
