Factions is one of my favourite multiplayer modes ever. Couldn’t believe how good it was when I first played on PS3. Factions 2 will be great with how much more agile you are. Just imagine the dodging, diving, and squeezing through cracks in the wall.

I don’t know. I’m a huge faction fan. Level 999 a long time ago. I love my shorty. It adding all that jumping around is going to make it like uncharted 4. I love the tempo of factions because I haven’t played a multiplayer like it.

Love the multiplayer but it can be SO frustrating. Things I really dislike - 1) If you have a good K/D spread the game will constantly punish you by putting you with the worst players game after game and expect you to constantly carry. 2) People rage quit all the time. Usually after they've gone 0-8 and the game is about to finish. 3) Some weapons are ridiculously OP and take little skill to get your kills. 4) People will always try to steal your executions, but then rage when you do the same thing back. 5) Despite being such a tactical game barely anyone uses their mics. And the one's that do are generally annoying the fuck out of everyone by playing music in the background. 6) Russians.
Hahahaha Russians - yeah you gotta try to fix that!!! The game has flaws but for an unmaintained game for forever ago (approaxing 10 years!!!) it's aging quite well.

The game is still very active. Just a little advise when you aim and move around the corner be warey that you might be more visible than you think.
Always pop out aim shoot then stop aiming, this video was great
Also placing bombs will show you on the map for a second no matter where the enemy is.

Also if you want to be hidden press right up against the wall. If you move a bit back your name tag shows up, there's loads of tips mate just let me know

i wish there is some zombies around too so its really feels like survival supply run then caught up with faction scenario.
Played since release and still on it. Factions 2 deserves to be its own game and deserves all the time in the world for polish.
Never L2 behind cover because it's drags your character from behind cover and makes it look crazy how you got downed.

Just got back into this myself. Great multiplayer play!
It would've been really cool if they did something where like, the closer to the end of the match it got the more A.I. infected would show up to cause trouble for players or the infected could be controlled by the already dead players.

Fav multiplayer ever, level 653. Came back after a year and its still frustrating seeing high levels using covert 3, shotty and tactical. No one has much skill anymore.

You're naturally HILARIOUS! I've been playing this for the better part of 7 years and I still love it. I'm craving something similar. I love the strategy, how great of a distraction it is, the finger placement for each move, etc.. I hope I can find something just as good, but possibly with less cussing or with the option to turn it off like you can with the gore. God bless you

Does anyone have a problem with start the multiplayer? Whenever I try to launch Factions MP I receive an "error" - "You need to download some free content", I already downloaded it but still receiving this.. :(

I tried everything but The Last of Us Remastered Multiplayer didn’t work on my PS5. I tried to uninstall and install the game again and to reset the PS5. Someone know how to fix it?
I'm downloading the factions maps just now but was a fan of both games.. having trouble finding anything to get into that's online.. I wonder if there's any like co-op campaigns that are online that would be so cool.

This is one of the best multiplayer experiences I've had in all my years in gaming. Such a fun, tense, pure multiplayer experience. No paywall bs, great balance, very few bugs. Such a unique multiplayer gameplay loop as well. It was heart breaking to hear TLOU 2 wasn't going to have multiplayer. We need a standalone faction game man....

I've actually has LoU since I bought my PS4 but never played it. Just finished it last week and started Factions. Nice unique multiplayer but I like how I get silver trophies almost every other game. 😁

I think mp is cool and fun, its not my favorite but i enjoy playing it alot with my friends, i find the tact shotgun and tact handgun OP and the mp kind of buggy sometimes

This brings back memories. I played the hell out of factions the whole 1st year this game came out. My specialty was finding a vantage point with my sniper rifle and calling out enemies for my teammates. It's a real crying shame that 2 didn't have multiplayer.

I've played multiplayer since the ps3, i always get teamed with freshies i always have to pull their weight, gets annoying after the 8th game with freshies

It'd be great if the game tried to pair by level rather than just fill empty slots. As a freshy, getting my ass handed to me a dozen times each map by a level 999 player grows kind of old. Sure, it's great that I get to see which weapons and tactics are bust and which aren't, but just barely getting my respawn done before getting shanked or run over by some hardcore OHKO steamroller isn't that fun of an experience.

@@patriksvensson2360 i recently played yesterday with groups of people shooting through walls because they ended up losing, and since i don't shoot through walls it was the biggest disadvantage, i can't return to my favorite game because of it 😭
@@jesteren787 I played the other night and saw that too! At first I couldn't believe it and was, like, 'am I seeing this right?' The craziest bit about it was that it was so blatant - you could clearly see who the cheater was and how he was cheating (e.g. shooting through walls). Aren't those guys reported and banned? I also saw some guy glitch out of the map but still be able to shoot opponents on the map. It might be a dull experience getting smacked by elite players on a regular, but I'd rather have that than win by cheating methods.
@@patriksvensson2360 elite players don't cheat if they truly have the skill to win but as far as i know cheaters use this exploit and abuse it to win against people they can't win, or if they use it at the very beginning of the game they don't care and only want to ruin the experience for others, also I've also noticed my teammates also have used it but it's all a shit show whenever you encounter this, i just stopped playing the game because of it 🥲

That's not at all bad. I went from Campaign to MP and was completely thrown off at how different the mechanics worked, the weapons were mostly different and it felt like everything I had were like short-range BB guns while certain players on the other team ran around like Terminators with OHKO weapons. It didn't help that the game didn't provide any information on how that worked. Not a fun start, tbh, but after chewing through the basics and it's starting to grow on me.
