If you had a hitch, you could have stood on that. That's what I do. Or you could just open the back gate and step on the bumper to unlatch. Then, just move your tent slightly over to one side and then you should be able to attach your ladder. I have traction boards on the side of mine and 37's and have no issue hooking my ladder to the side. Maybe try sliding the ladder mounts more forward or shift the whole tent more forward. I guess part of your problem is you also have a 2 door and mine is a 4 door, so I have more space. Anyway, great video and hope you enjoy the tent and the Rubicon Trail.
Thank you, and thanks for watching! The hitch would probably work, but I’d have to worry about dragging across rocks. I’ve stood on the bumper to open it, and that’s probably what I’ll do once the aftermarket bumper is on… I feel like I’m gonna crush the OEM bumper. As far as shifting it, it would probably drive me nuts knowing it isn’t center. My thought was having a piece fabbed that can quickly hook into the ladder hooks, and also rest across the top of the molle panel like the ladder is now, and then I’ll also get a small platform out of it to stand on climbing out of the tent. Idk, I’m throwing around a couple solutions in my head!
@@JeepsLimited same! that was the main selling point to me… the lower the profile, the less chance on whacking something overhead on the trail! (At least in theory)
@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson that's my thought. Are you leaving it up there permanently or taking it of when your not going to be using it for an extended time?
@@JeepsLimited I’m undecided at the moment… it’s easy enough to unbolt and remove, but I’d think I’m gonna be using it too much to bother taking it off lol
I like it ! Rubicon sounds fun hell yeah ! 🤘
@@Downtimelost thanks man!
Rubicon is gonna be our BIG trip for the year! I wanna make sure I have ALL my bases covered! 🤙
That's a badass tent! Love the setup!
@@echo5bravo1 thanks brother!!! Looking forward to some killed adventures with it!
Looks great man! Easy and fast set up is key to enjoying camping.
Thank you sir! Yeah, idk if I’d ever use it, if it was one of those tents that’s a pain like the Smittbuilt soft shell!
Looking great!
Thanks! We’re really excited about it!
That is a Bad Ass Tent! Rubicon will be here before we know it!!!
@@BirdDogOffRoadAdventures thank ya thank ya!
I’m READY! #rubiconORbust
Looks great man!
Thank you! Thanks for watching! 🤘🤘
Awesome 👏 you brought up a good point that the new rock sliders act as a counterweight to keep cog low
Thank you sir!
Gotta say… the speed of setup is impressive! But the low profile is the key seller!
1000% it was a perfect match for what we want to do!

get a kc cyclone light on a switch or a led strip that runs off a rechargeable usb battery for inside.
The KC cyclone dimmable?
@@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson I don't know if they have one that does. There are a few other options that have a built in switch.
i guess i need to mount up my RTT now i have only had it for a year now lol.
@@SpangsWorld YEAH YA DO!!!! looking to hit some multi day trails too???
@@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson our Michigan trip was going to be but we turned it into an overland Airbnb trip.
@@SpangsWorld LOL you’ll have that! There’s a ton of trails in MI that I’d like to check out. Old railroad lines and mining/logging sites… etc
Im impressed with how flat it gets when it's down.
