Great tour. We come here from England once every 2 years and love the place. Some sections are better to stay at than others (depending on kids ages etc) but most staff are good. Location is ace.

Stayed here a few weeks ago and was impressed. It’s a little old in style and design but thought the resort had great amenities and was a good value for the money.
Yes, it is certainly an older style with much of it built during the 1980s and 90s, but it does have great amenities and plenty of pools. Thanks for checking out the video!

Thanks. It may be a little while before I can get that video completed. Though we will for sure have a four night stay at Vistana Resort before September since we have an Encore Package stay to book. Once I can get video from the other three phases in the north side, I should have what I need to put together the video comparing the different sections. From what I have seen on the south side of the property, they are all very unique in their own way. Thanks for watching!
I love it here my favorite vacation spot in Florida. Zimmies is a great restaurant in there as well
Thanks for watching. We really like Vistana Resort and had a fairly good meal at Zimmies, though it was just the pool side dining that was open. The main restaurant was still closed.

HI great walking tour, I was wondering if I can get any advice as to where to stay - I have a week coming up in early Mar '22, a 2-bd unit, for my wife and I. We have never been to the S Vistana R but many times to the S Vistana Villages
Not sure if you are asking what section of Vistana Resort to stay in or if the decision is between Vistana Resort and Vistana Villages? We much prefer Vistana Villages. Has a more modern feel and the pools all seem much nicer. As for which section of Vistana Resort, the Lakes and Fountains phases are the most recently remodeled, but we like pretty much anywhere and we have stayed in most sections. Hi Jeremy. Love your videos. Quick question I have for ya. I'm taking my wife along with our 10 month old down to Orlando at the end of February for 4 nights. Which property would you choose if you had to. Sheraton vistana resort Villas or the Marriott Grande Vista? Or would you choose another property? Thanks Jeremy!
Since you are commenting on this video, I am replying based on the assumption you are referring to Sheraton Vistana Resort in Lake Buena Vista area and not Sheraton Vistana Villages on International Drive. There are two properties with almost the same name.
We really like them both, but they are very different. Sheraton Vistana Resort is an older property and many of the buildings won't have elevators. Any building three or fewer floors has no elevators. Vistana Resort has a lot of pools and is very large and spread out. The different sections are very unique, almost like resorts in a resort. Many of the sections surround small lakes and are very peaceful to just sit out and relax. The resort is very large and spread out. The rooms are in good condition and clean, but not up to Marriott standard.
Grande Vista on the other hand is newer. The rooms at Grande Vista are definitely a step above those at Vistana Resort. The pools at Grande Vista are also much better with much better theming. The Vista del Sol pool is great for kids. Though Vistana resort has some good kids features at some of their pools. With a 10 month old, you may just be looking for the kiddie pool, which both of them have plenty. Grande Vista feels more like a single cohesive resort with the style pretty much the same throughout. Vistana Resort is not like that given the different sections were built over the span of about 30 years.
You really can't go wrong with either of them. Grande Vista probably costs more to book a stay and Vistana Resort is likely cheaper. Not sure if you are considering going to Disney while there, but Vistana Resort is much closer. The gates to WDW are only a couple miles away. Though as always, getting around Disney World can still be a long drive.

How many of the two bedrooms have space for 6-8 at the kitchen table?
I beleive all of the 2-bedroom units in all of the sections will seat 6 at the dining room table. There is usually also a breakfast bar with at least two stools. One thing to note is, Falls has a round dining room table. All the other sections we have stayed in (Lakes, Fountains, Cascades, Courts) have rectangular dining room tables. The round table in Falls may not seat six people as comfortably as the rectangular tables. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!
What are the rates? Can I rent this as a hotel?
You can rent this property through Marriott.com or many of the other internet booking sites. On Marriott.com it is listed as "Sheraton Vistana Resort Villas". Rates will vary depending on the size of the villa and time of year you travel. Thanks for watching.

This is the worst resort that I’ve been to from the Vistana collection. Restaurants are terrible,pool is not good, will never return to Orlando after this vacation.
What was wrong with the pool? There are actually seven of them at the resort.
