I had no intention of watching your whole video but WOW what a ride, couldn't take my eyes off it. Easily one of the best motorcycling videos out there!
So many good places to ride out west,... Nice, proof that even the desert can be beautiful! My Concours has been a good faithful and very sporty bagger.
Thanks for the comment. I loved my c14. The only thing i didn’t like was the lack of cruise control. I ended up trading it in for a BMW 1200gs. I wanted to go off road more. Thanks again.
@@couchpotatolv i use to race enduros, i understand wanting to off road, i put a cramp buster on my C14 lol im good with it, i also put grip puppies on, if you have big hands, it helps so you dont have to close yr hand as far, making so yr hands wont cramp so quick ..
Great Video! I wish you would have posted some mile markers for us to indicate how long and how far you were into that loop... Great scenery for wide angle photography...
Love it there I need to up there again this spring. Takes me about 3.5 hours to get there from Murrieta. What kind of phone mount are you using ? It looks cleaner than the Ram one I'm using on my 2018 Concours.
Thank you for the comment. That’s my old iPod touch with a ram mount cradle I got directly from them. Nowadays I use the quad lock wireless motorcylce mount/charger for my iPhone.
If you had to buy again... that Kawa Concours or a Yamaha FJR 1300 and why? Greetings from Spain. P.D. I don't envy your desert, Google for images from Bardenas Reales, close to where I live :)
I've always loved the Concours. The Yamaha is also a great bike with comparable features. I like the look of the Concours better, especially the mirror placement. The one feature that the Yamaha has that the Kawasaki doesn't is cruise control. I really like that feature. I decided to go with the throttlemeister bar ends with the throttle lock to make up for it. All said and done, I would still go with the Concours if I had to do it again.
I heard the stock seat on the FJR is not good, but with a new seat and cruise it would be tempting to go with the FJR. I have cruise on my Goldwing and it makes long trips so much better on the wrist and therefor on the comfort. No more sore wrists and numb hands. My 1000 Concours, a great bike, had a throttle lock. If something jumped in front of me I would have to take time to disengage it so you are driving at it with the clutch pulled in and the engine revving up high or with the clutch engaged trying to stop the bike with engine power while you take time to get the thing unlocked. If the Concours had cruise I think it would be my preference over the FJR.
couchpotato I like the look of the Concours 14. I wish that I could have seen the Kaw. But, my Raven17 FJR will do. I agree about the seat. As soon as I sat on it, I knew I was going to replace both front and back. My lady sat on it and that was it. I have Seth Lamb Custom seats installed. Even if I had the Concours; I would have replaced them. In terms on comfortable seats? No one beats HONDA’s seats... My personal Experience and mere observation...
What was the date, and time of day!? Whenever I go the place is full of tourists, cyclists and runners. Someone is going to get killed. Also, you have to speed around this circuit otherwise you'll have some jackass in a white BMW riding your rear reflector, literally.
It was May 8th which was a Sunday. I was there around 7am. Hardly any traffic at that time. I find that most of those "jackasses" you're referring to usually get there around mid morning (10am to 11am). I avoid that place around those times. Thanks for watching the video.

Nice engine sound. Thanks for no crappy music. The engine is music enough.
Thank you for watching the video. I wanted to do something simple with this, none of the extras.
You meant wind noise.. lol
