I can't move my fridge myself to replace a filter. Would a filter system like this work for filtering the water for the fridge so that I can leave it on my counter to service it easier?

Should have switched to INSTAPURE filter - good flow screws right on wend faucet & very inexpensive - from their website. Not sold at stores.
