This looks is the best Alpaka sling bag yet in my opinion. Useful pockets on the strap AND can hold a water bottle. Just in time for my trip to Japan, can't wait for it to arrive.
Agreed! When you travel internationally on a lot of airlines you get a carry on size bag and a small item, not a backpack. This would of been perfect if it had a lock so you can lock it while you sleep on red eyes. Sorry Alpaka, holding off on version 2 with a lock, I like the bigger size options too.
This is cool, but I want X-pac with orange interior , wish the middle part had a bit more organisation pocket , I hate to have things moving around in the bag
I love Alpaka. Been using bravo x sling v2 since 2022. It's really the one thing you buy and you kinda forget about it because it works perfectly. This crossbody looks neat! You just sold me a bag sir.
This bag looks great, but I'd like to see Alpaka use the same hardware on their bag key leashes as they do on their hub key chains. I don't always have a bag with me when I go out, and I'd love to be able toss my keys on the hub carabiner.
I commented before about adding a lock. Just wanted to add that Alpaka adds loops to zippers to prevent people from easily opening your backpack. Why not add these loops to their slings?
Looks great! Always wanted a sling bag that put thought into having an external water bottle holder. I just worry about the bottle falling with the constant swining of the bag. Also, would a Steam Deck fit inside?
Dang! I was looking for something a little less tacticool to replace my Maxpedition Sitka for travel, and just decided two weeks ago on a Bravo Sling Max V2 (no regrets, fantastic piece of kit). This, at first glance, would have been the even more appropriate substitute. Love the gearslinger setup for access to articles in the bag. Guess I know what my next Alpaka purchase will be.
Really like the design. But I already have a 10L sling from Alpaka, and it hasn't even had any of its stitches ripped or anything broken yet even though I've been using it for maybe two years all year.
Looks absolutely stunning, but I'm leaning more towards a sling that's able to keep at least a 14inch laptop (had the first version Bravo Max Sling from kickstarter and it was perfect! Till there's quite a few wear and tear, so I'm looking for another replacement instead of sticking back to Bravo Sling Max)
Because some people might get confused right shoulder version is for right hand users. But if you listened to the rest of the sentence he said “right shoulder version on right shoulder to grab stuff with left hand” I was about to get right shoulder version because I thought it was for right handed people.
You should have added another magnetic latch point for the stabilizer on the bag so it can be neatly secured when not in use, and also quick access should it be needed.
A little more organization in the front and middle compartment would be better. Also having 2 zipper pulls for the main compartment would be a great improvement
Believe me for smaller bags like this its very annoying. If you are constantly opening things will get stuck and always get in the way. Ive purchased about 10 bags and 4 slings in the last year. Enough to know that too many pockets even for an organized person like me is not ideal. Quick access is key. If you have pockets inside pockets with something oriented in a sideways fashion like this it will make everything fall out of place or make harder for muscle memory to reach in and get. I also noticed that zippers that are oriented too close to each other do the same
Is there any possibility of fitting the macbook pro m1 14 in this bag? (2" longer + 1.5" wider) I'm already getting it but if it could also fit this, this bag would be perfect
@@johnnyho6225 I was hoping for this too but they said "up to" 11" iPad so I'm guessing they won't fit. In the video it doesn't look like there's extra space after fitting the iPad
How good is the padding between the back compartment for ipad, and the middle one? Could I fit a steam deck in the middle one without both devices "hurting" eachother?
How long is the shoulder strap? I don't have any reference point for how big Keith is and whether the strap would fit comfortably on a taller/larger person?
My daughter works for a global construction company. She told me that none of her coworkers wear luxury goods. They seem to focus on the kislux high-quality small boutique companies that make goods cheaper than the iconic luxury brands. There are lots of options. If you don't want to pay those high prices, there are a lot of great bags for just a few hundred dollars, not thousands.
Good to know the bottle holder will eat into the main storage once filled! Very useful info! Will the bottle holder fit a peak design travel tripod, and can a leica Q3 fit inside the main compartment? Assuming nothing else being stored.
I would love to know the internal dimensions of the main bag compartment? There is a tripod that is 33.3cm tall that I would like to get if thats short enough to fit.
@ usually when you throw a bag sideways the bottle stays horizontal, this one seams to almost tilt upside down. Still an epic bag and will be pre-ordering one
@@UrbanSasquatch I’m just messing. I thought your comment was funny. But it does have a loop to tie the at the top so it won’t fall out. I bought one and will see how it goes
@ me too! I was thinking about that one as well! I might just get both haha jk…I think that one is cheaper and on sale right now. You should check that atom sling again
Everything is beautiful and well thought out.. except the quick access areas on the shoulder strap itself: they should have both been placed beneath.. and not on top of the strap.
If it was on the bottom of the strap, then you can feel your AirPods or glasses hitting your chest…higher chance of breaking my glasses as well. Way easier access when it’s on the outside and I have cushion under it for comfort instead of something bulging into my body lol
@kresink00 you are right, but a flat space such as that is definitely not for your sunglasses.. or ear pods. It's for flat items you need quickly, phone or credit card.. or cash.. and those need to be more discreet or more protected.
@ it’s mesh as you can see in the video. I would personally put AirPods or sunglasses just like the guy in the video did. Perfect for walking on the street or riding a bike for quick access.
Alpaka makes great products but their customer support is bog - no responses to their online form or emails. A real shame as their products are damn good but if you lose a part or need support you are out of luck.
nice design, but as always alpaka put out bags that doesn't have enough space. I wish this one has a removable tablet sleeve, and that the water bottle slot doesn't share inside space. I have the bravo sling and if put a slim laptop there, I can't put anything else aside the charging brick and pens since there's too much padding inside. I wish you design bags for actual working folks instead of tablet kids and wannabe photographers
Alpaca, great looking bag but you shouldn't have made it left or right you should have just made it work you don't need that giant beaver tail going all the way across that looks stupid bag looks nice the strap look stupid works stupid, in layman's terms, is there such thing as a left-handed spoon😂
This looks is the best Alpaka sling bag yet in my opinion. Useful pockets on the strap AND can hold a water bottle. Just in time for my trip to Japan, can't wait for it to arrive.
Alpaka just keeps on delivering. That looks incredible
Finally a worthy competitor against Patagonia Atom sling!
And the Alpaka one seems to have fixed nearly all the flaws of Patagonia Atom!
Looks great! Just wish you could add a lock in case you do plan on using this on trip abroad. Especially, since the bag is carried on your back.

This looks good, and I hope you guys would make a xl version, fit a 13" ipad pro/14" galaxy tab s9/s10 ultra...
Looks like a very thoughtful crossbody
Love this! I hope you'll make a bigger version that fits a 13" laptop
I love Alpaka. Been using bravo x sling v2 since 2022. It's really the one thing you buy and you kinda forget about it because it works perfectly. This crossbody looks neat! You just sold me a bag sir.
I’m assuming it’s to cut down cost but some slip pockets and I would have been sold. I just want my small items organized. Looks amazing though.
Very happy to see someone make a bag suitable for left-hander
I am tired to pull the zippers from behind.
For lefties, will it be a left or right shoulder bag? I’m a leftie
@@zbchan right
Good bag,
Maybe a larger version to carry a laptop and a strap mechanism that allows for either shoulder carry
12-15L ambidextrous with two water bottle holders would be great. Plus, make the shoulder strap pocket weather resistant.

Looks great! Though I don't care for the iPad holder. Would rather an extra pocket for other things - though I guess I can use it to store a journal!
This is neat! Its a shame I only recently purchased an Atom :/ - definitely will be grabbing one when my current one is due for replacing!
Looks really nice. I’d be happy to switch out my nomatic for this if it could accommodate a laptop
1:19 : “for the right shoulder version, it’s designed to be carried on the right shoulder “ wooo how do they come up with this 😂😂😂

It was very detailed. You answered all my concerns!
It’s the water bottle side pocket water prof? The likely use case for me is putting a water soaped umbrella in it
Thank you. This Model looks awsome.
How long is the shoulder strap? I don't have any reference point for how big Keith is and whether the strap would fit comfortably on a taller/larger person?
I'll seriously considered this when I need to replace my NIID R1.
Great job!!!
I like their bags but most of the pockets always shares space with the internal storage so they always end up smaller that what you need.
This looks amazing but I’ve check out my go sling recently 😢 Should have gotten this instead
Great job Alpaka!
now we need a larger version for a 14 inch tab s9 ultra

is it possible to fit a 12.4'' tablet in the main pocket??
This came out days after I ordered my Metro Sling V2 Max… not sure how to feel about that.
that jacket looks great. whats the brand?
oh man it is everything I wanted my Metro backpack to be except it doesn't fit a laptop 😭

Phenomenal design guys but I wish you have better organization for the middle zone
Does anyone know what jacket Keith is wearing?
Can this bag fit 40oz bottle?
Does it com in black….. xpac?
(with orange honeycomb interior)
Is the stabilizer buckle compatible with the Hub system?
Amazing bag, if it was orange on the inside, I would buy it
same! the olive green with the orange lining would be awesome.
I think they will release xpac or gray axoflux version with orange liner soon
Multicam black version please
Nice but lost me at 11in…13in and I’m in!
These things get really uncomfortable when you start loading heavier objects. May as well go with a regular backpack.
Really smart design. I like it, but wish it could also be configured to be a waist pack for additional versatility.
I like it!
Looks great!
Can it fit macbook 14?
i think 14 inch macbook will fit because that 11 inch ipad still has a lil bit of space left
@@vonneo7079 Unfortunately not, I'm sorry to have to write this. It fits an iPad mini or an iPad Pro 11 inch.
Sling bag are not meant for laptop
I’m waiting for the xpac / orange interior 🤞
How secure will the external water bottle be when I access the main compartment? Will it drop out?
Looks like there is an elastic cord to wrap over the top of a water bottle or umbrella.
Can this fit a Steam Deck?
Yes, it will.
This looks awesome. Can it fit a Nintendo switch in the tablet compartment?
Yes
I'm waiting for a zip clutch sling man. its all that I want
Why the design can't make for both shoulder? 😢
You can’t have the horizontal top access if the strap design was ambidextrous. 🙂
@SamuraiSamoht14 I think that's a sacrifice people are willing to make. So they can rest their shoulder.
I wish they added a usb port. But otherwise looks nice!
If I could fit a 14-inch office laptop, I would like it ( but i save it for future )
i Wish the front shoulder pocket is not see thru
Needs more organization for small items inside.
Can it hard fit a 13 inch macbook?
No, it won’t. It fits up to an 11inch iPad
Was hoping this could hold 13 inch ipad
Same that’s where I’m struggle with it
would love it could fit a macbook air
X-Pac please!
