It's because the difference of wealth and success. GDP parity. Both countries have roughly similar populations but china's GDP is 5 times that of India's GDP. This makes China GDP per capita 5 times that of India. GDP per capita is the main factor that determines the infrastructure development of any country. More paved roads, more walking pavements, more concrete gutter systems, more subways, more clean rail roads, more cleaning solutions, more water supply solutions etc etc.

But America avoided this issue by early development (19th and 20th century) and continuous money printing ability contained with military power projection. China is as dirty and polluted 10 to 15 yrs ago. But u couldn't admire President Xi determination to make the country great in all aspects including the environment and EV. Most of the policies are carried out efficiently. What India need a competent central govt who is able to solve things step by step. Alas, they don't have one. The bureaucracy in the political system is also too corrupted and too complex to change for the better. Remember Earth is a global village. If pollution in India and other parts of the world are too damaging to our environment, including increase the global warming, the whole Earth is done for.

20 plus years back, China was plagued by frequent smog breakouts and severe air water polutions, the sky then was greyish even during mid days! Eventually the governments at all levels decided to takecare of the issues especially before the 2008 Beijing Olympics and they had done a wonderfull job persistantly since . So India can do the same in getting rich through industrialisation and improved the Indian environment as well.

I honestly believe indfia can’t be compare to China, india major people is lack of development while China is highly developed. China is currently the most developed country in the world, you need to develop a city before talking about maintenance.
In terms of development China is way ahead india
I love you a lot but I don’t by constantly comparing China to India you are making people disrespect india the more . China and India only have population in common apart from that , their culture, believes , approach to life , development, infrastructure etc is way different.
If at all anyone want to compare China , China should be compare with countries like South Korea, Japan, Singapore because they have a lot in common. From culture to history to approach to live etc .

china is a 18 trillion dollar - developed nation. India is a 4 trillion developing nation. for same population size. Obviously India is poor and has less resources. China as their people will tell you, wants to be compared with EU, US. India is a developing nation yes its good to have a nice view of where India wants to be. India can aim to match current state of China in a few decades for sure. Best of luck to India and China.

Hats off for highlighting the issue…I agree to every point u shared and I believe you want india to grow likewise…great education system must be taken seriously…and education must be provided to the underprivileged children from all parts of India…. I believe education can do wonders that we can ever imagine….with them we evolve and are determined to do good for our country….todays time education sectors are just making huge business with exceptional margin…where they are forgetting that education is one of the noblest thing to provide..so the government must take control on the education sector in order to safeguard the future of the upcoming generation because they are the future and we must focus deep into it and make sure it’s followed and regulated!

Every year China will have "advanced civilization city" election, not only for mega city but also for the small city, town. if a town or city was qualified as "advanced civilization city" which means it meets several standards. it can get benifit from the policy and more easy to attract the investment. so the "advnaced civilization city" is one of the KPI for the local officer.

What a joke of the year. Maybe you can take a comparison between India and Bangladesh. Of course you are doing a blog of China. Appreciate your fair praise of the fantastic Chinese people and the incredible infrastructure. Hope your vlog reach more blinded Modi-Indians back home just so they can face the harsh reality of the pathetic development of India. No dramas and cheap rhetoric. India would benefit big working with China even China do not need her. China is humanitarian.

You can look at photos of Chinese streets from 50 years ago. Even though the Chinese were very poor at that time, the streets were always clean. This is not an economic issue, it is an awareness issue among citizens. India never seems to know how to care about hygiene.

Life is not a competition. Good to know that China has progressed considering we share the same population figures _ over 1 billion! Both governments work for it's people. I admire that China does not let its guard down and wont entertain foreigners misusing their way of life. They have advanced technology and I doubt they will permit foreign telecom companies in! Safety I guess. But we in India are improving and definitely wont want to be a replica of some other country. We have a different lifestyle _ from the hardworking labourer, cleaner, maid, sabjee wala, mochee, press wala, peon, private chauffeurs, street barbers and fortune tellers, we live side by side, and earn our livelihood unlike for example in the West the govt has to make sure even a baby born is given a large sum of money. That is why we see teenage mothers or for that matter family instability. The chai wallah works and supports his entire family _ mother, father, wife and children That is called progress or responsible behaviour. So what China has is enviable but India too has a lot of to die for living standards. The West however has nothing but work and illness minus family. We should start with garbage management and keeping any water body devoid of sport or litter
