Thanks for checking out XG (Xtraordinary Girls). Just FYI, XG are not Jpop or Kpop, but they prefer to call themselves as Xpop. I wouldn’t get too hung up on the labels, though. All you need to know is that they’re a global girl group based in South Korea. As you have found out, the 4 rappers in this group are Jurin (leader), Harvey, Maya, and Cocona. The other three (Chisa [sub leader], Hinata, and Juria) are part of the vocal line. On top of their amazing rapping and vocals, they’re incredible dancers. Musically, hip hop and R&B are their core, but they have ventured out into other sounds.
The TAPEs (1, 2, 3A, 3B, 4), VOX (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6), and MOVE (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 [1 and 3 are essentially the same choreo]) are their side projects that showcase their rapping, vocal, and dancing skills. To answer your question regarding the TAPEs, each tape after TAPE #2 is a new song.
If you want to hear more rap (after going through 3A and 4), check out SHOW YOU CAN by Maya and Cocona. There’s only a lyric video that is not on their official channel. The song was made for a dance crew, Tsubakill, for the show SWF2.
After going through their side projects (if you decide to continue this route), definitely give a listen to their discography. I’ll just recommend a few for now:

✫ GRL GVNG (the MV does not showcase the full song, so along with that, consider watching the dance practice or the American Sign Language version)

19:39 - Yes, XG set themselves apart from other groups by deviating from the conventional standards of Kpop. Their CEO, Simon, was formerly a Kpop idol in a group called DMTN and had faced the harsh realities of the industry. He has a vision to promote change and XG aims to do so.
Speaking of breaking idol stereotypes, I highly recommend giving a quick view of their teaser for their next comeback, WOKE UP: th-cam.com/video/F1Oaz4ouKms/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared Needless to say, it shocked the entire fandom (Alphaz). WOKE UP is significant because this will be their first all-rap song (with the exception of one vocalist, it’ll be the first time we get to hear the vocal line rap) and we’re all very curious to hear what message they’ll bring out next.
There’s a lot more to say about XG, but I’ll let the other Alphaz fill you in.
Thanks for the explanation of the group and what to watch for them. I may either finish off the tapes or maybe try some of the “vox”. Not sure yet but definitely excited to hear more from them. After, definitely will dive into their discog
