Visit St Brides church it is hidden at the end of Fleet Street near where the underground River Fleet comes out under Blackfriars Bridge. It was bombed in 1940 and the floor collapsed to reveal a 2000 year old Roman temple underneath the church. You can go down there for free it is a very atmospheric calm place. There are skeletons and stuff.

Nonsense. I have had 70 FANTASTIC years in London and been out socially (my Diary) over 16,000 times without any major incidents. I lived my first 29 years in a totally culturally English part of South East London(near Millwall F.C.) and just 2 miles from Central London. Had the chance to buy this 3-bedroom London home in 1983 for £27,500:) and have had 41 wonderful years living just 11 miles from my old area and within 1/2 mile of an S E London postal district in Kent. Yes, there are now FAR more people from other Countries(China, Turkey, Nepal, and Nigeria,in particular) but these are aspirational people and it is so safe that my car is unlocked outside and I have NO lock on my back door after 41 years here.
@@martynadams2011 According to you I MIGHT be able to save myself from embarrassment but you have no chance. FIRSTLY,if you had just said Bradford then you could get the benefit of the doubt as it is a well-known diverse place but you also said Leeds, which is not, particularly, diverse. Leeds Demographics White: 85.0% (81.1% White British,............hardly "diverse" is it so anyone would THEN think you WERE serious as you have deliberately chosen a predominantly White area saying it is far more "British".SECONDLY.Instead of admitting your error, you try and deflect the blame onto me. How is it "ironical" naming a White place as being "British" ??
Glad that you and your friends are having a good time here in the Uk.

No, you grow up and face the truth. London is only about 35% British. It has been destroyed by a dishonest Islamic mayor.
Considering it was founded by the Romans, that's an ironic comment.
O God, not another American in London. Go to King's Cross or Euston and get a train north. London is not Great Britain. It's a foreign enclave.
No - go to Leeds or Bradford far more “British”
