Ahhhhhh I had this problem on my yamaha but with left blinker, it flashed both in back and it was making me crazy trying to swap out my lights. Thank you so much!
Thanks! This helped me out a lot. I’m glad I didn’t start taking apart my wiring before I watched this. I also used your video to replace the relay. One question though, did you do anything for the turn signal indicator in the cluster to flash on both sides? Mine only blinks when I turn on the right blinker. I can’t tell if my left blinker is on or not.
I found a relay no load led for my 1980 Suzuki GS 1100 E. It worked with incandescent lights. I put in led lights in but only the right side worked. I had left resistor wires in the front he front signal wires. I took it off and it did not work. I put one on each side in the front and it worked. I do not know why. I would love coextensive it to work with out the resistor wires. The incandescent did not work on the right without the resistor wire. The left did. ??????
I was wondering watch part number turn signal light you purchased? I would like to order the same thing that turn white when they're not blinking and what cover lens do you have?
Did you end up replacing the bulb for an LED? If so did it solve the problem? I tried switching mine out for an LED, which fixed the dual turn signals on at once. But now the new LED indicator light does not work.
It has to do with the fact the LED is a one way diode and the left and right signal input on either side of the bulb - meaning both sides are positive. Incandescent lights don't care about which way the current flows, but diodes do. So, you have to make a Y connector and run both the left and right turn signal to the top of the Y and the bottom of the Y connects to the indicator. That will be your positive connection to the LED. When you plug in your LED make sure the + side is on the same side of the Y. Kuryakyn used to make the Y and maybe still do, but it's just as easy to make your own.
Douglas White points out the y connector I was referring to, albeit being an ass. I made my own. www.amazon.com/dp/B0041QIMPO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_PWJZPGRCH5Q5GA13QV2A
Sir you are a genius and save me a bigger headache and probably lots of money! Thank you!
Brother thank you, your video was the one that fixed my signals, incredible lol thank you again
Sometimes I'm an idiot and don't turn my shi off!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I think we all have that problem when riding!! 😉
Thank you for helping me figure out my led issues

Thank you for the helpful video! Currently going through this right now. Easy fix!
How do you get the bulb out or can I just cut a wire?
You sir are the man!
You saved me thank you so much❤
Hell yeah man I appreciate you
I have the same problem, all 4 light turn on . I will considering your advice and let you know if work's. Thank you
Thank you!!
Great video!!!
Thank you brother I’m going to r that
Thanks brother!
You have video on to install all the led lights?
Thank you sir! 🙏
swapping out dash bulb for an led will result in the dash led only blinking for one side. You'll need a diode kit.
What strenth diode, please

So in my 07 vulcan 2000, if I just remove /replace the cluster signal indicator bulb, the signals will still hyper flash, but work?
Where did you get the led replacement bulb
Hey I put diodes in my front blinkers and all my light are still flashing

thanks. I took the bulb out of the meter, and it worked, do you know the size in LED?
I don’t recall. It’s been over a year since I did this.

What relay did you replace it with if you don’t mind sharing

Does this work for cars as well?
I'm sure it would, just have to find the right relay for your application.
