i want to thank you for all your great videos an all the great places you go an crawl an the rigs you run are always nice an capiable for what you are doing an you ae a great driver thank you an keep up the good crawling
This is where I come to learn how to drive my rigs better. Or at least how to understand better how to closely pay attention to what my rig is doing and what I want it to do. It's actual scale driving. Cheers Logan.
braxton and i were the ones to break the trail and he and i spend about an hour and a hlf figuring out the lines for it. we did find that it favored longer wheelbases for drag axle setups. rear steer is basically cheating lol
VRD killing it! And you're not serious about RC if you're not upgrading something, lol! I say you take the snubnose out and put in one of the new Holmes Team Snubnose/Super Snubnose Revolvers at 2250kv (released today) - going to be a monster!
As I finish watching this, I'm coming to the conclusion that you are my favorite content provider in all of my TH-cam interests. I Love the fact that you Do Not give up! I'm into MOA, but there's no comp scene where I live in Missouri. I enjoy taking my time and not having a clock distract me from focusing on my rig and the obstacles I find to challenge me. You have excellent Wheelmanship and I've learned alot from your technical driving style that I prefer. Put out some more MOA and Sporty action please! I'm hoping to retire my old XR10 someday and go with my Dlux SuperLite dream.... After, (if ever), I finish my 1:1 Willys CJ2A and CJ8 Scrambler projects. Honestly, I'd rather just have the crawler. Recently widowed at 54 and I'm just not excited about the Jeeps without her anymore.
Great video as always! Trail looks pretty dang awesome. VRD is a beast. Got my stubby, BTA installed this week. Hoping the rain holds off so I can run it in our local cash comp series tomorrow 🤞
Looks like the stubby kit is unavailable, wonder why? Would love a breakdown video showing what and how you did everything, and maybe links to the shocks and springs (did they come with Losi?). Been slowly building mine closely after yours and one other I follow
This is one of my favorite bodies. What did you use for the black I can't get anything to mark that well or come close to drawing the vanquish guy! Thank you for amazing content!
Why the Reefs Raw800 over say the Smart 900? I am having a hard time choosing which Reefs steering servo for the VRD because I really dont know what all the differences are on the different Reefs models.
With the exception of the axles, I have many of the same accessories you have, i.e. motor, esc and servo. May I ask what tooth pinion you're running on the 1800kv motor. I've ordered a 14 and 15 thus far as I don't know if I will run it on 3s or 4s. My kit arrives next week and I'm looking forward to the build. It's great to watch you put this capable rig through it's paces. Thank you!
I was running the same motor and esc combo but could not get happy with the motor wire routing. Ended up running a Similar outrunner from Furitech python x /komodo 10 combo. Both systems running a homles hobby 16 volt direct power servo on 4 s. The Furiteck is just smoother on the startup and even less noise
Awesome video, man. I should have my vrd kit delivered this weekend. 😊 my question is, do you think the vrd could make these same lines without the stubby kit?
What 540 was you going to install? There are 3 sizes . Im tempted to pull the trigger on the m . Being best of both worlds. He did just release 2250kv team spec too. If that was the ss you ran it pulls hard looks good too

Glad you enjoy it! Thanks for watching
Same reason I come.
WOW! That last one was a bear of an obstacle. Great fun to watch.

Glad you liked it! I did go back with a longer rear steer truck and made it up the top line but still took some work.
Nice run man! Always good to see people who are okay to post their “failures” or when things don’t go as planned. Glad ya finally conquered it!

I ordered one haha
I can’t wait get on those new team spec motors in 2250 kv for sure 😊

Those Spec wheels are nice !! Great rig and video !!

Awesome lines with a cool chassis. Nice work!
Was wondering if you had any WDW decals
Is the stubby kit required to do the behind the axle servo?
I notice you said your go to tire is the proline krawler in g8. Do you feel these tires do better than the jconcepts rupture?
Nice driving super cool video ya definitely had to work for those lines but that’s what makes it more satisfying 🤙
Definitely the hard ones are the fun ones
Nice driving

Body is painted by Bonehead RC on Instagram

do you leather punch or put holes on all your tires?
Can you try some 1/24 crawlers
Hey Logan, I had a question about your suck down winch. If you do some slight modifications can it work on the back of a rear steer capra?

Very likely
Looks like a good crawl 😮😮

Only the M and SS will fit. The normal 540 is too long
What is the best RTR crawler under 500?
RTR is tough. Kit would be VRD or Pro
Vanquish bruh. Fordyce
Stay in it Logan
Im sitting on a years worth of truck builds i havent run. Spring can spring fast enough.
Thanks for another great video
Thank you
Great video!!
Thanks for watching
Great content like always brother
The team spec 540m is a real nice snubnose
You got to talk to it lol my Phoenix the more I talk to it the better it preforms ...it just needs a cheerleader lol
Dude I'm like a little cheerleader at 2:00 in the morning screaming in the vehicle let's go
That's so crazy you talk to that bastard and it went up that wall
Yay new video.
Nice😊
Because the spring becomes weaker the further you lay it down on its side it's what I have heard
Great rig, very ugly shades😁
