Johansson good to go so no Boyd tonight. Here are the line combos: Kaprizov-Rossi-Zuccarello Johansson-Hartman-Boldy Foligno-Khusnutdinov-Trenin Lauko-Gaudreau-Ohgren Boyd not in line rushes, so looks like Johansson will play Middleton-Faber Brodin=Bogosian Merrill=Chisholm Gustavsson Fleury
We are on year 5 of Spurgeon’s seven year deal at 7.575 million per year. I’m feeling like 46 maybe on and off the IR all season. Being a smaller player, he absolutely needs his footing, speed, and overall health at 100% to survive. This is the concern with these 7-8 year deals, unless you’re Vegas and we can write them off, but for the remaining 31 teams, it’s the tap dance being played. EK will try to play Tuesday, I would consider sitting him one more game and let him shake the bugs out. His head has to be pounding and we have 79 games to play, the Wild can beat St. Louis without him if they get goaltending.
