Just a little video I made of a song that I love and couldn't find anywhere on the net to share. Song is by .357 String Band check out their other stuff.
Thank you so much for the comments. I just really love this band, this song, and felt inspired. I'm glad you all enjoyed it and thought I did alright by it. Makes me feel good!
Amazing. I discovered these guys about 15 months ago. Been a fan ever since. I don't listen to much mainstream anymore. I like the Underground stuff: Hank III, Shooter Jennings, Jackson Taylor and the Sinners, Lucky Tubb, Justin Townes Earle, Slim Chance and the Can;t Hardly Playboys, Whitey Morgan and the 78's, and the .357 String Band is all I'm jamming to these days. I'll always take suggestions for new artists. Thanks for posting this tune. Never heard it before but I'm in love with it
Love it, almost every time I watch this video I shed a tear or two, especially when you see are men and women over their losing their buddies, and young boys and girls watching their parents go off to war.... makes you really think
I wish there were more of this modern country if you can call it that. The use of instruments and vocals of country and bluegrass, that isn't so confined to the genre. Anyway this is way above what a banjo boyband like Mumford and Sons could ever make.
Dm F C *Words in ( ) I'm unsure on lyrics, Like the hills as they rise, like the stones (trip pin) under your feet, Like the dead open skies the one damn time you need somethin to drink. Like a road overlong, left to suffer without a song. Like our doors open wide, the one damn time that you need a place to hide. It's been a long time coming, and on my fingers (pages stayed), and though my heart is still pumping, across my face, how the days engrave.
One of my favorite all time bands… miss you boys!
