Paul was also a huge part of the live show.. granted Joey's kit was the other kit so he was also a big part but I think dino and Paul were like the main dudes. Everyone else was (roy as well) like hey come play a show you got a song or two is for the fans and a lot of people blew it off.. from watching it all I think dino was the biggest driving factor Paul jumped in and was all for it minus letting Nadja play a few and dino stepping out to let others play a few songs.. if I had to guess Paul and dino were the dudes that wanted the live show. They put it together they play the most songs they put the most effort in..

As soon as I saw Sean Malone's name pop up on the screen, I shivered. That man was everything you needed in a bass player and a musician. Made me fall in love with Cynic and Gordian Knot. Rest easy, Sean, you're remembered and loved even if you're no longer here with us making groovy bass riffs.

I was thinking about the first time I heard this album and watched the DVD. I can't believe it's been that long. Wow.
I was still a teenager at the time, and hadn't been a metalhead for that long back then.
The guitar work from Matt and Corey was amazing, alongside the drumming of Joey, Roy and Mike fricking Smith.
Maybe a year prior the release of this album, I wasn't really listening to metal. Except a few Nu Metal bands like Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park.
Then, a friend I just met lended me his mini disk player full of all kind of metal... I fell in love instantly!
Then, after he made me discover bands from Iron Maiden to Children Of Bodom and everything in passing, this album came out. It was just awesome.
Now, even though I listen to most kind of music, metal has a place in my heart no other genre has.
Anyways, Matt and Corey were awesome back then, and still at today.
Alex Bent is, in my opinion, the best drummer to play with them. Today's Trivium had an amazing lineup and I'm always looking forward to new material.
I'll stop writing this weird-a** essay.
      Cheers from France! 🍻
      *Edit*
I just remembered something, a time I was listening to Dawn Of A Golden Age in the kitchen through my old phone, and Mike Smith's blast beats sounded like a helicopter to my Mom. Puts a smile on my face thinking about it.
      *Edit 2*
Last thing, when I first watched it I couldn't understand any word. I started learning English a few years later. It's really great to be able to watch it and understand what people say in it.

I'm a nobody, but I would like Mr. Conner to know I was tape trading early Roadrunner/Roadracer cassettes and ordering Blue Grape merchandise when it was completely Uncool to be part of this scene. I distinctly remember having to special order Immolation Dawn of Sorrow and Disincarnate Dreams of the Carrion Kind on a weekend field trip to Washington from Massachusetts. My teacher, who was like a mother to me, was not very happy when she wanted to know what I spent my parents apparent allocated allowance and I showed her Disincarnates Deadspawn. Only time she raised her voice at me, lol! " Anthony, your not bringing that garbage on the BUSSSSSSS!" This was March of 1993 and I obviously snuck 3 copies of the album in my pants and used the cash I got from trading 2 of the tapes to buy my ultimate album of that year, Gorguts Erosion of Sanity. Sorry, lol, I'll shut up now. Ohhh, that time Fred Rodriguez and I smashed every locker door near the lunch room with our foreheads, straight blasting Nailbomb Cockroaches from 1994s Point Blank with Alex Newport from Fudge Tunnel. Oh man.
