I rarely pass by a sermon given by Fr Terrance. It always strengthens my faith.

*Be helpful when you are at the bottom of the ladder and be the lowest when you are in authority*
    ~St. Columbanus
Thank you for this beautiful homily that helped me seek inner reflection.
Every day we find ourselves in a position to make moral choices in mundane situations. We may NOT be an authority of anything in particular, but we ARE able to set an example of Christianity in all that we do.
Whether it's helping someone with our talents or resources, or showing gratitude, or just being compassionate and loving, or choosing to be unselfish, we all have what it takes to be good, when it comes from the heart.

So insightful - who would listen to a fisherman. We must keep humble to find God or we will pass him by. Thanks so much

Thank you God, for giving us your priests the successors of the apostles to lead us to the truth.

"He looks at the **heart** ", awe! Helpful to know, precious. Though have heard this many times and believe, this today touches my heart, simply and beautifully. Thank you so much for clarifying, and Thank You Lord Jesus. Mother Mary, Our Lady, help me to understand this more but also to imitate Your virtues to draw towards Jesus more.

It is great to have Catholic homilies. Catholics need to have their place on the online platform. Sometime ago it seemed that I almost couldn't find any. I am so glad to come across this church. Good humble and powerful sermons. Praised be Our Lord and Our Lady !!!

Humility is so essential. Excellent sermon father. I recently met a Catholic woman who had her ideas about the church in some form or fashion. She did not believe in purgatory regardless of the evidence in the bible....and she always liked to quote from the bible. Also, she would always go to the old testament. Nothing bad, but if one is not properly instructed by the church, or seeks instruction by the church (hence the need for humility), they become wayward like our protestant brethren. Other examples include referring to videos mostly from protestant talks. Needles to say, I sensed a great unease being around this person and went with my gut feeling and ended the friendship. I suspect the gut feeling was from God warning me. Anyway, thank you for the sermon father. Clarity needed in these confusing times.

@@michaelp3122 "Ending this friendship was extremely sinful." First of all you do not know the situation nor the person. What I did not write was the person was of opposite sex, met just very recently, had ulterior motives to connect with me (you can figure that for yourself what that means), an ugly mouth when it came to criticizing others, and caustic and manipulating remarks towards me at the very end. No it is not sinful at all, but prudent. It's prudent that we keep our interior peace even if it means to distance ourselves from such especailly if they remain stubborn in their beliefs. Sometimes the best lesson such person can receive is when they realize their friends are all gone and all they have is the person in the mirror to stare at. Now, it would be sinful if I did not pardon that person, which I already did. By doing so it brought me interior peace. Often times certain people are not meant to be together as friends.

Michael, thanks for the comment. In regard to friendships and whether to continue or not is a matter of personal judgment. Ending one is not grave matter especially if she already tried to bring her around. We should assume the best intentions in people. God bless.

Thank you Father for the struggle you are taking to lead us in the right way. When ever you are hurt by a slanderer, remember how much our LORD was hurt by them for telling the truth❤
