@@gigabrother458 Heidi is more relevant and relatable to some nowadays after all of these shootings. You can see her perspective and slip into madness, and it is very humanizing
This is real talent when a man can sing and your first reaction is who is this woman singing. I had my friends listen to this and they thought it was a woman.
I feel like the whole movie gives off that vibe, it may be the dark lighting combined with the content and puppets designs or something idk, it has a weird exploitation-like aesthetic that make it guaranteed for anyone who’s seen it as a kid to mistake it for a fever dream as they get older, it’s hard to describe
The movie was weird and gross, but the song at the end made me cry. Heidi's struggles on stage were heart-wrenching. She was manipulated by someone she thought was her friend and ended up killing everyone except the ones who showed her kindness. I saw myself in her, feeling bullied and betrayed by supposed allies. Despite her terrible choice, I feel sympathy for her and would give her a big hug. I'd tell her she matters and that there are better ways to fulfill her career without being stuck in a toxic environment.
This is one of the most bizarre and hilarious movies i've ever seen, (and i've seen a lot of crazy movies so far); and its soundtrack is as unforgettable as the characters and the movie by itself. I love P. Jackson's gore era!
Me too, I'm not really a fan of doo wop style music but ever since I heard this it's been running through my head. I just saw Meet the Feebles last Friday.
Sound great, also turn Gollum into Lord Crumb (Peter Jackson's Bad Taste) and Smaug into the snake that eaten Johnny Bartlett soul (Peter Jackson's The Frightners)
I leant this movie (on VHS) to an old co-worker...we had talked all about horror movies and he'd seen DEAD ALIVE before, but not ...FEEBLES. Monday rolls around; we're at our lockers and he hands me back my videotape, "Well that was a fucked up movie you made me watch!" 😝 R.I.P. Mike Marley.
What I find interesting about this song is that it sounds like a basic love song to anyone who hasn't seen the movie, but if you've seen the movie it almost feels like a flower from the garden is less of a loving gift but more of a persuasive trap. That's just my take tho no one will probably care about this comment lol.
Abraham Limas a mí igual me gusta y jamás pensé que un director como Peter Jackson haya echo películas clase B Me gusta ver está película como Bad Taste y Braindead :^)
This is my headcanon. Heidi used to be child actor, finds solace in performing at the bar where she sings, as her parents are absent from her life. Despite her talent, she lacks guidance and support, leaving her vulnerable to manipulative figures like Mr. Blench. Their brief interaction leaves Heidi feeling used and despised, highlighting the darker side of show business and the exploitation of young talent.
this movie may be absolute insanity but it is surprisingly relatable, anyone who is of a strong enough skin (not easily offended) should give this film a watch.
This movie was hilarious right until very last shot. Heidi gets rehabilitated and gets to live a normal life after massacaring the whole theatre and her friends lmao!! Wtf lol
@socialwetwork5643 Very nice! You may also want to check out a cover here on YT of it. I don't remember her name but it's a woman playing her piano and singing it, and it sounds lovely.
this song is weird but god i love it its so romantic. BEST FREAKIN SONG EVER LOVE LOVE IT. i just got my sister watchin it with me she said she likes it also.
I drank a lot, and smoked a lot. Then I decided to play a drinking game. But somehow I'm still not drunk enough. Then I decided to watch 'Meet The Feebles', a film about animated puppets, with my own animated doll companion - I wanted to show it to her. SHE absolutely loved the film, and this song, and demanded that I add it to my playlist of delightful songs. My life is very strange and wonderful. Animated puppets/dolls are awesome!
Wow where did you get this version? It's not any of the versions they use in the movie, was there a soundtrack released? If there was do you know where I could find it? I love Heidi/Danny singing, this is such a gorgeous song. Thanks for posting!

On the surface this looks like a really silly and stupid movie but actaully has a very unique plot, great acting, a fabastic cristopher lyold impression by brain sargent, funny chrathers and very unique
She didnt deserve any of that, she was so kind hearted :( Such a kind lady
Absolutely. Heidi did not deserve any of that. Testament to how this film was made that we feel such sympathy for muppets.

Not to mentioned groomed , she was just a teenager when she met Blech
@@userfridaywiggly18943 she’s not so young, in 2 years she’ll be 18

who is the singer ?
Mark Hadlow
Ashley Iglesias
Yeah, i thought too it was a woman singing at first.
Until I read your comment, I had no idea it was a man singing.
Like this comment if you're still listening to this in 2024!!!
I feel for Heidi, but the rabbit really didn't deserve to die. :(
Barry the bulldog too he was killed by that spider monster
I hope when the movie's remade, he stays alive.
Meh do we really know if he deserved to live though.
@@keatonthekoopatroopa246 Barry was a murderous gangster, how did he not deserve it?
It was too late. By then she had had enough. They pushed her too far and they had to pay.
This movie has total bangers in it

I honestly feel like she really would have been going places if she never met Blanche
Agreed but *Bletch
Yeah, most of the people she was around were scumbags.

Poor heidi. Good film and song.
Marvellous song for a unorthodox and hilarious movie!
I want to see Jackson do a LOTR parody with Feebles characters.
And I need to see all the characters from the Hobbit turn into zombies only got be killed by Lionel Cosgrove's lawnmower.
ordep 237 oh dude I love brain dead
Nearly all the feebles are dead
I think he means in, like, an alternate universe. And so what if nearly everyone is killed? We can still use Robert and Lucille again.
Sound great, also turn Gollum into Lord Crumb (Peter Jackson's Bad Taste) and Smaug into the snake that eaten Johnny Bartlett soul (Peter Jackson's The Frightners)
I was expecting the soundtrack version to begin with the line ". . . . On a magic night 🎶. I love this song.
Showstopper song of this violent, obscene puppettoon, It sounds like it was composed and recorded in exactly 1962.

What impresses me the most about MTF is that Jackson somehow managed to make this film (more or less) equal parts disgusting and cute.
