    there's a number of good points to this, though it does still relegate the single to reconcile themselves & their state to Christ, and for them to be 'valuable' even in this message is based on productivity: for God towards the Church & the World. -I rather missed the part of the Church becoming more intentionally familial , and not relegating the 5th wheel persons as an add-on or some sort of sacrrificial favor for inclusion in their familial context of "wholeness", whether they have something to contribute, or especially if not. Some coupled/family units of believers are doing it in a healthy way; most of the organizational constructs are not.

    Yes, I affirm the basic message of this sermon, but you can't use its message as a pathetic attempt to avoid American Evangelicalism's complete uselessness in preventing the degeneration of American culture-which is evidenced by the high percentage of singleness-over the past century-a century in which it has had political power to rival any of the influence Catholicism has had in the history of the church.
