Have to agree with you there. I spent two years away after testing and found it to be lacking in every department. However credit where it's due. But they are a long way from any 1.0. I think your discussion in the beginning about content also connects well to the boxing question. I think game designers have to go into games with the idea that everyone's actions have meaningful purpose. That every encounter requires everyone thinking about the game, dynamics, group etc. Even a solo mob should require thought and a big boss should require even more thought. So when I think about boxing, sure people can box but it should be slower and more cumbersome and overall less fun than grouping. When grouping it should feel like you are working together as a team to make the encounter better. I think if you do that then you don't need to worry about content as much because just playing the game is fun. Same with boxing, if you design the game well, it should encourage people to group because it is more fun.
Your comment are spot on. I found it doable, however cumbersome trying to get set up. Once in place there is fun to be had as you will see from my next video where the boss finally popped. Oh god. Lets hope they figure out a way to keep people from boxing this game. It is supposed to be a social game, not one you can bypass the social element by boxing.
Yeah I think that's what their plan is. But they will never stop it totally imo apart from banning accounts and they don't have the funding imo to finish the game atm. Not sure you can buy 2 accounts on steam so who knows right?
I thought about jumping into the early access today... but... I think id rather wait for the official steam release this way im not stuck managing two accounts. Rather just use my steam account then to have to connect my pantheon one to my steam for all of eternity for a game thats just a month away. Additionally, I will get to see how much the game improves from now till the release
Spot on my friend, I am in no way endorsing people should spend their money on Alpha 0.00001 it's no way finished and the EA will be the same imo. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment and hope to see you in EA o/
