Can you elaborate what you mean, resource? The only resource this class uses is mana and all caster classes use this.

This is just a PVE game. I think this is just a generic page from Steam. I would say this is closer to Vanguard than EQ1 tbf and I loved Vanguard was gutted when they closed the severs That's where I first boxed an MMO. I have a Vanguard emulator which I drop into every now and then.

Yeah have completed that a few times the reward is an 8 slot bag. I found a quest which give a very nice ring which I'm currently chasing atm. Also a guy at the cross roads give a good quest which give a 12 slot bag too. It's called a Merchants needs part 1 to 3.

@@CheekyChapGaming I must have gotten that mixed up with one of the other quests from him. He got an epic quest that extremely long.

@@potsandjacks Now I am curious you will have to go find the name for me now as I am currently doing the thug questline which is long I am on the fourth quest for that. Which is called [Finders Keepers] and I have to obtain a silver spoon and a carved wooden pipe. Is that the quest you mean?

I've only got to lvl 10 on the shammy but I also have lvl 10 on my cleric and it has better healing spells for sure. I am going to do a video of me playing my cleric and Pali on one of the group content camps which will be interesting. So you will be able to see how well the cleric can keep me alive with the shield spell which rocks and save you healing at all.

@@CheekyChapGaming I grouped with a Cleric in the Goblin caves last night, and he was using that shield spell on the puller, and do you know what? It seemed to have been preventing the puller from being rooted (which is always a huge pain in the ass in those caves). Cleric has some nice kit.

@@GW-ny5rv That's shield spell also prevents stuns and only drops after a certain amount of damage or the timer runs out. You can stack it to last 20 seconds too. I use it all the time it's a godsend in duo teams.

I have been testing Monster & Memories as a friend and family member, but they closed that last year. Shawn, Nick and the crew tying to get the work done. Sadly to many were getting stuck and it had them dropping work to move us about lol. I hope they get that out into EA soon too I have hundreds of hours in that game and cannot wait to see where they get too also. Never played Wow but ironically I tested it and then never played it I hated the cartoony graphics my PC said NO! 😜

I just don't think they have the means or staff to keep tabs on all this. I also think that this test server will die once they open EA and it will be a totally different build than we currently have to test/play on too. I have been moaning about lvl stuff but thinking about it logically they wont want to mess about with it to much as that will be changed on the EA servers for their launch that I am sure of. They have locked a lot of the vendors which sold cool items in the previous test I tested a few years ago and I am not sure why they locked us out of this tbh.

It looks bad even by 2006 standards. Not even just talking about the graphics, the actual gameplay is horrendous. Kill and collect quests in a forest, how unique and epic!

@@492msu39ma Fair enough. I felt the same way you do no two years ago when they downgraded the visuals. Come to test it until EA next month. Personally I feel they have come on leaps and bounds with the content. Like all games the noobie area stuff is weak but some of the mobs in the higher areas are challenging. I figured that would be the case. EQ1 chanter were epic and I was hoping this would be too. I wanted to play a Dwarf chanter on here and started mine before they dropped the dorfs 🙄 I will take another look once EQ comes along. Thanks for the heads up man now my faith has been restored thanks to your comment.

@ The class also starts pretty slow, you just feel like a weak mage until about level 10+, but if you can stick it out you’ll be in high demand for groups, especially caster-heavy ones.

@ Haven’t landed on a main for EA yet, I’ve got a friend that I’ll duo with a lot so probably a healer as he wants to try warrior. I hadn’t heard about rogue nerfs, that’s too bad.

@@little0ff It's such a shame as i was going to use a rogue to farm lower mobs for pelts that's gone out the window now. They may rebalance it for EA who knows right? Hope you guys have as much fun as my friend and I have been having too man.

Don't like using that as it feels like a cheat. Rather take the death and deal with the consequences. However I do use it for fast travel just don't show it on my videos. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment really appreciate it man.

It is better you are right. I do understand, but the time it takes to gather mats out ways the vendor bought stuff for the time factor that's my point here you can lvl faster than you can craft. So you gain more gold selling the stuff. Once players start making items I will have the coin to barter their items and once the market gets flooded it will be far easier to buy from players. There are some amazing drop items out there and while we can use dust to make special items they will be rare to start off with.

Yeah Bronx, I have been watching Joppa's videos and he has mention what you said. Just frustrating! But it's understandable they not changing stuff here as these will be gone soon and I am sure they are close to finishing the EA build or close at least, hence why they chose 13/12/24 instead of 02/12/24. Yeah I always planned on making this video it was just matter of getting my ducks in a line and getting organised. Yeah currently guild option are in the name of my current guild is Noble few. Raiding we will have to wait and see with that one. As for what I plan on making as my main for EA still undecided atm. I want to get all my toons to lvl 10 then I will pick the one I think I may play and grind it until wipe. Listen man thanks for your comments on my videos.

Yeah I think that's what their plan is. But they will never stop it totally imo apart from banning accounts and they don't have the funding imo to finish the game atm. Not sure you can buy 2 accounts on steam so who knows right?

Yeah you right on all them points which I am sure I addressed on another video. From what I remember it was lvl 12 they got charm back in the day. I should remember but I am stacking them years on harder than ERQ1 is lol. I was 43 when EQ1 came out haha. God I'm old!!!

Hey GW spot on my friend. I have not done another video yet as I have been testing pantheon an MMO in development you might of seen with my other videos. But stay tunned you will see the large keep I just made and no one can see inside my keep as I have locked everyone out lol.

Hang in there my friend, if you notice this is the least flushed out of all classes atm. I think they may of done that for a reason. I do believe it will be changed for EA. There are so few skills to lvl 10 on the Warrior atm I will change I'm sure of that. My time with the warrior has been brilliant. I tested this two years ago and I felt like you do now. Trust me this is 100 times better than it was and there is a lot of content in there atm. I have tried not to show to much not to spoil it for people going in for the first time. Raven thanks for taking the time to respond to my video my friend. I alpha/beta tested EQ1 back in the day man and have played EQ1 for over 25 years but hung up my boots last year enough is enough for me got fed up of the same grind. However each time I played eq1 I learnt something new about the game so this has BIG shoes to fill that's for sure man.

@@CheekyChapGaming I would ask a dev to confirm what i said. But i heard that from the grape vine and someone needing to ask before their wife played on the same IP. It would make sense to not let people box that shit ruined everquest. The whole point it to group with people and have their class being meaningful. Ive known what EQ became knew a dude that boxed 40 accounts runs raids sells items buys and resells Krono's. Also having a max level cleric outside of grps hand holding people.

@@WayneTwitch Yeah played EQ1 for 20 years I left due to the Krono BS. As for boxing once the game goes live I wont be as my brother who live elsewhere will be using my buddy key so problem solved right? Do appreciate the heads up all the same.

Yeah for sure but just delivering the three boxes give you lvl 2 but with enough coin to buy your spells to lvl 4 that was my point.

Just worked it out having done so many starter toons in the short 3 weeks I have been on here. Working smarter rather than harder has been my philosophy all my life and I apply it to everything I do. Hence the channel name Keep it simple right 😁 There are a few tricks I left out to let you guys learn otherwise it's pointless playing right?

Ok vendor wise they are all over priced and you can loot or make most of the stuff they sell early game anyway. Potions drop off mobs as loot you can make them too with alchemy crafting early on. Dire Lord is sick, I made a two handed sword for my DL but they have now put a lvl restriction on the made weapons since last patch. I will try show the DL if I can lvl it up in time ok. Cannot promise it will happen with the short time left in alpha.

I have been worried about doing that for the reason I do not want to take away from the players experiencing the game for the first time. Thanks for reaching out from across the planet I am humbled by your interest my friend. Let me think about it and see if i can come up with a formula which will not spoil it too much before the end of the month ok.

Hey man nice to meet you! Hmm hard for me to guide you here. Two reason... One - There is an alpha package on sale atm for $50.00 and it gives two copies of the game, ie a buddy key. This gives access immediately to the alpha until 01/12/24 then the servers shut and will be wiped. Two - EA will be $39.99 for a single copy of the game from steam for EA. From what I believe this will be a different build than the current server we are testing atm, so what you see now might be totally different for EA. Hope this gives you some information so you can make a choice, but I do not want to sway you either way as if you are disappointed I would feel responsible and feel bad. Hope you understand my standing on the side-lines with this. In my early video I mention to folks that I would not tell anyone to back this in the current state for the reason above.

Have to agree with you there. I spent two years away after testing and found it to be lacking in every department. However credit where it's due. But they are a long way from any 1.0. I played Enchanter in EQ , I never felt OP at all .... However I love playing Enchanter , I love what it brings to a group, a good enchanter can make or break an adventure. I also love that the Enchanter is harder to level, I enjoy the challenge and the time sink, it keeps me busy and when i hit that top level it is going to feel more awarding... cheers ! ...Enchanter LFG 😁
