Grunt Proof endorsed. Great tarp!
I was gifted this product as a replacement for my dd 3x3 tarp and there is no comparison. The bushman is superior in every e as y. Build quality has to be seen to be believed. I can't recommend this product enough.
We just put it through the Grunt Proof Testing, and it performed well!

I bought it and i am very happy with it! The bag could be a bit bigger so it is more easy to pack it, but this is not a big issue! It is a nice bit of gear! Well done!
Some great tips. I have been trying to decide wether to go with super light DD tarp but having seen this video I think this would meet my requirements better, heavier I realise but the thermo layer seems very useful.

Really nice video and well done !! Where I live in Texas, I must have a tent enclosure because the rain and wind tend to be horizontal from all directions.

Thats a pretty sweet bit of kit for sure! 3m x 3m is a great size but I find myself wondering if a 2.5m x 2.5m might be a bit better?

Nice tarp. What about water resistance? Can this one be used as HATA Hammock?
How would you compare this tarp with DD Hammocks?
Hi - HATA hammock can be made by 2x3 only - because of additional reinforcements.
DD Tarps and BUSHMEN Tarps are different.
The main differences are:
- silver coating (Thermo insulation, UV protection)
- U-shape loops
- ripstop fabric
How much weight are you thinking is safe in that hammock set up?

Hi - loading of one layer is 70 kg (statick weight), so double layer hammock shown on the video should load about up 140 kg (statick).

Is the inner layer fireproof? Sparks from the fire for example.
Hi - No, it's not fireproof
I would be a buyer if it was water proof, but I could apply some rain shield spray I guess.
It is made of waterproof fabric, also the middle reinforcing sewing is seam taped.
You don't need any additional water repellency.

Great, I live in Europe, and it can rain, oh yeah... So nice to hear it's rain resistance.. how many water? Ah, I see; 3500 mm.
Does the thermo layer attract lightning?
Our thermo layer is not a lightning rod ;-).
It's all about staying cozy, not conducting electricity. You're safe to shine bright without any unexpected sparks - unless, of course, it's the dazzling sparkle of your fabulous outdoor outfit!
